CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Michael Muhney, who played Adam Newman, is speaking out about his costars and TMZ. Yesterday he tweeted about his beef with TMZ and name-dropped both Hunter King (Summer Newman) and Eric Braeden (Victor Newman).

This is what Muhney tweeted in response: “Let’s address this once and for all. Actors who are written out of shows are “fired.” I did nothing wrong except disagree a lot with one man. I have no accusers of inappropriate behavior. In this world of #metoo, we need to believe the women. Yep. But none said anything about me.”

Y&R Spoilers – Michael Muhney Is Tweeting Up A Storm

Muhney then tweeted this: “And TMZ owes me the biggest apology ever. Back then they told my lawyers they could never be sued by anybody for anything as long as they used the words “allegedly.” Shame on you TMZ. You are disgusting trash. Scum. Where’s my apology?”

Perhaps shedding some light on Muhney’s comments, seven years ago he left Y&R. Following his exit, TMZ claimed that the reason was, “unwanted and unsolicited” actions directed at costar Hunter King (Summer Newman).

Adding this:

TMZ owes both of us an apology for dragging our good names through the mud. Victims of a made-up story that sprang from the bowels of the internet. We were both victimized by the baseless click-bait article. She never made those claims. Period. Leave us alone.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Character Adam Newman Has Been Portrayed By Several Actors

Current This Is Us star Justin Hartley stepped into the role of Adam Newman after Muhney left. When Hartley departed Y&R to star on the hit primetime series the character was not seen for a time until Mark Grossman was cast.

Adam is currently involved in a front-burner plot in which he and dad Victor are squaring off for the umpteenth time. Adam is convinced that Victor killed someone years ago and tried to frame him for it but Victor claims that Adam is the perp and blanked the event from his memory.
