Either Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) inherited his grandmother’s money, or Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) did on ‘The Young and the Restless’. An alternative third option may exist, though that hasn’t been spelled out yet.
Jill Abbot Atkinson’s (Jess Walton) trip to the Maldives results in her making contact with Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) follows. Since his name was falsely used as the front for the will challenge and Chance works for the authorities, fallout is sure to follow.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Loses Nothing
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) claims that Chance was her client. She seemed genuinely miffed to learn that he wasn’t when Boaz’ debut occurred on Y&R.
The so-called “old jerk” who Amanda spoke to on the phone in the past could easily be Colin. He’s in the later stages of middle-age and would be considered old by those who think they are whatever young is. But no point of contention exists in having labeled Colin as a jerk, as even Cane has often used that verbiage, or another derogatory term when speaking about, or interacting with his father.
Chance has no reason to lie, which must mean that the fake will page issue is a scam. In that case, Devon would retain full rights to the nearly two and a half billion inheritance Katherine left him when she died in 2013.
Y&R Spoilers – Cane Ashby Is The Heir
As viewers recall, Jill paid a supposed forensic document specialist to compare what were believed to be the original pages of Katherine’s will against the pages Cane received in a manila envelope by force in Las Vegas, Nevada. The seeming authoritative result had the perceived original will as a forgery and the claimed original pages as real.
Is it possible that a switch occurred and that Colin, or whoever, orchestrated it Maybe? But this type of outcome would see Cane leave Genoa City, Wisconsin, with a controversial cloud over him. That type of write-out for Goddard’s long-standing character doesn’t feel right.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Something Completely Different Happens
Whoever Jill hired to review the will pages was either legit, or not. Assuming she was not on the take, then the original will was forged. But that doesn’t mean the other will Cane was given represents Katherine’s final wishes.
A third will, meaning one that’s newer than what Cane received in Vegas, may exist. Yes, that would be a stretch. But daytime fans accept the unexpected as long as the climax is satisfying and believable.

Give Devon his money back asap. This story is rediculous and soils the legacy of Mrs C. Make it write.
Devon gets his fortune back. So many wills its hard to keep up. You would think one of the attorneys would find the forgery
And not be on the take
This is the craziest story line. First, Cain was no kin to Katherine so why would she leave him anything. Devon was her kin and was doing so good to honor Katherine legacy. Give Devon his money back.
I agree give Devon his money back and stop the will mess
Give Devon back his money .Its getting sickening
Devon should get his money back
This was crazy. Devon was Katherine’s grandson. And while she was close to Cane no way would she have cut Devon out and given all of her money to Cane.
Give the money back to Devon, let Cane go and move on
The person hired to authenticate the will pages was paid off in my opinion. Devon should get his inheritance back and Cain run out of town ashamed to show his face. Just my opinion
Give Devon back and kick cane out
I think devon keeps his money but he schould give a few bucks to him.
