Young And The Restless Spoilers – Newman Insecurities Exploited To The Max

Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) ongoing concerns about his family being ruined by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) played out in a morbid scene that included Grossman’s character lying dead in a coffin adorned by black roses.

Nick didn’t kill Adam, as his family and the presence of a butcher knife in his hand suggested. But Morrow’s character couldn’t convince his clan otherwise. And, he later saw that Adam had faked his death. Sibling rivalry reignited to the extreme, with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) preference of sons being questioned and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) turning against Nick.

Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) found that she wasn’t being taken seriously, despite all that she’d accomplished. That’s a reason why she was portrayed as a stereotypical sitcom star.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Was Shut Out

Abby twirled like Mary Richards (Mary Tyler Moore) after entering the scene in Society and threw her hat into the air, imitating the classic opening theme show street sequence from the iconic 1970’s ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’. Abby has made it (after all), just like Mary did at the television station in Minnesota, but Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) didn’t think so.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) initially saw herself as the head of Newman Enterprises, with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as her brunette secretary. The hair color switch wasn’t limited to Case’s alter ego, with Phyllis sporting gray, which appeared to indicate her future spot atop the global conglomerate.

The eerie turn, where Phyllis was invisible was followed by Victor making her disappear. This particular scene underscored what’s happened to the Phyllis character during and since the crossover from Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) to Stafford’s return.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Two Guys Lose Control Of Their Lives

Kyle saw his likely cousin, Theo, as taking over the Abbott family. Chaos, instead of structure ensued. Images of ‘Kola’ in out-of-date garb was reinforced by Theo’s nerds comment. Yes, that Kyle does feel marginalized by his former friend who’s invaded his life.

Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was stunned to learn that Sharon betrayed his trust by secretly conspiring with Adam behind his back. ‘Shey’ is Rey’s desired goal, but what Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) did to him still weighs heavy on his mind and could prove repeatable, or so he thinks.
