Nikki doesn’t just have a tiny sip of wine. Nikki is fully blasted drunk, as in sloppy, slurry drunk. When Nikki faces Lauren, she rambles about not being able to go home to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

During the week of January 8, Lauren will see the drunken desperation on Nikki’s face. As Lauren stops Nikki from falling to the floor, she reluctantly agrees to help her. Lauren tells Nikki that she has an idea.

Even though Lauren knows that Victor should know the truth, she likely will help sober Nikki up a bit. Lauren might even let Nikki sleep it off somewhere safe, then text Victor with an excuse about helping a friend.

In any case, Lauren will have to decide whether to tell Victor about Nikki’s condition or not.
