Fans can expect to see Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) blindsided, as Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) garners a win.

Audra Charles Shocked

The Young and the Restless preview for the week of August 17 opens with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) looking mighty smug at the GCAC bar. He’s enjoying a drink when Audra approaches.

Billy tells her he’s celebrating something amazing, so it sounds like he’s counted his chickens before they hatch! As fans know, Billy found old documents indicating that John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) technically owes Chancellor.

He dropped this bombshell on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) during the Friday, August 14 show. Billy hasn’t won Chancellor over yet, but he will be prematurely celebrating during Monday’s show.

Billy invites Audra to join him for a drink so he can explain the situation to her. She’s sure to be shocked, but what will she think about all this?

Dr. Stephanie Simmons Wins!

Meanwhile, as the scenes shift, Stephanie will be with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as he reveals that he’s decided to go back to medicine.

He’ll have to go through a trial surgery before officially being reinstated, but Stephanie looks happily surprised. After all, she’s been pushing for a hot minute to return to his old career!

Unexpected Return!

As the Young and the Restless promo wraps up, the final scene is of Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) at the GC Shadow Room.

Christine is talking about how much the Abbotts have gone through, and Traci acknowledges this is the very reason she needs a night out!

This is when Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) pops up behind her and says, “You and me, BOTH!” Traci is ecstatic to see her old friend, as the two hug, and Christine does a little clap behind them! What is Nina doing back in town?
