The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 7 reveal that the preview clip is out. It shows Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) sobbing as she pleads with the judge.

However, Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) states her case. Elsewhere, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) seems doubtful as she tries to convince herself that Phyllis deserves the consequences of her actions.

Y&R spoilers for the week of August 7 reveal that the preview clip starts off with Phyllis. Now, Phyllis will sit in front of a judge. Christine is also in the room with Phyllis and the judge.

Phyllis sobs and wails as she tells the judge why she committed her crimes. Phyllis explains that she was in a vulnerable position and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) took advantage of that.

Phyllis continues sobbing as she expresses remorse for committing murder. However, Phyllis begs the judge to understand how terrified she was of the dead villain.

Y&R Spoilers: Christine Blair Williams’ Mission

The weekly preview then swings from Phyllis to Christine. Phyllis has made her emotional plea to the judge, who needs time to consider it. Now it will be Christine’s turn to state her case.

Christine is visibly upset and emotional as she tells the judge that Phyllis broke the law. Christine adds that lawbreakers have to be punished.

Summer Newman-Abbott’s Shaky Declaration

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 7 reveal that the preview clip includes a shot of Summer and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei).

The two characters are waiting nervously to find out Phyllis’ fate. Daniel sits in a chair but doesn’t say anything.

Then, Summer says that their mother committed a crime and now has to pay the price. Summer sounds like she is trying to convince herself that she’s doing the right thing.

However, Summer’s voice is shaky. Plus, Summer’s nervous body language and facial expression suggest uncertainty.

The judge’s verdict isn’t shown in the preview clip. However, Soap Opera Digest magazine teased that the judge’s decision will send shockwaves throughout Genoa City.

Plus, with Phyllis trying to protect Summer, could there be an unexpected turn in events? Perhaps Summer busts into the judge’s chambers and refuses to let her mother go down alone? That would certainly be very soapy, so stay tuned!
