The Young and the Restless Preview Week of July 14: French Murder, Damian Drugged, Nick’s Intel

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for the week of July 14, 2025. It shows someone getting murdered at Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) party.

Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) is drugged. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has disturbing intel. Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Damian Kane Drugged

Let’s start off with Cane and Damian. The two men sit on a bench together on the estate. They are both drinking from glasses. Damian makes a comment asking if Cane is trying to poison him.

That is when the host says with a completely straight face, “I’m drinking the same stuff you are. Unless I’m trying to take us both out.”

Considering Cane told Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) that someone is going to try and kill him, it’s not an unfair question. Then, Damian passes out while a still very much alert Cane puts his hand on his shoulder.

Nick Newman’s Intel

However, Cane is unaware that he is being watched by someone. For one, it’s not Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). It seems to be Nick, who gets confronted by Phyllis later.

However, Nick tells her that he’s fine. Red knows him too well and wonders what he saw through the hedges.

Chance Chancellor’s Investigation

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of July 14 reveal that the preview clip shows Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) announcing there has been a murder.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is there along with Devon Winters (Bryton James), Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), Nick, Phyllis, Cane, and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). I thought I saw part of the top of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) head, but I can’t be sure.

Damian doesn’t seem to be in the room with them, but Lily would be more distraught if he were dead. Nikki Newman (Melody Thoma Scott), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seem to be missing from the room as well.

As for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), they are busy celebrating. So, that likely explains why Kyle and Audra have to cover up their actions.

The last thing either of them need is for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) to hear about this.

In fact, Lily doesn’t look emotional at all, so I’m wondering if the person who dies is Carter (Vincent Stalba)?

Cane seems the most concerned, but it could just be another act, too. Who is the person who dies, and who is responsible for that character’s death?
