The Young And The Restless Preview Week Of June 22: Nikki’s Horrifying Diagnosis, Matt’s Proposal To Phyllis, Billy’s SkepticalThe Young and the Restless preview for the week of June 22-26 has dropped! Fans can expect to see Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) receive a shocking diagnosis, while Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) proposes something to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is skeptical about a plan. Learn more about what’s set to unravel in GC below.

Matt Clark Pops The Question

The Young and the Restless promo starts with a scene between Matt and Phyllis. The two are in the GCAC at a table when he tells Red, “Once upon a time there was a man who had no memory.”

He goes on to note, “… and then he met a woman … and then he asks her out on a date.”

Looks like Matt is about to see if Phyllis wants to share some time with him, on a romantic level. Will she say yes? Who else thinks Matt and Phyllis have some fun chemistry going on?

Billy Abbott Isn’t So Sure!

Across town, Billy will spend some time with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as the man fills his brother in on his plan to save Diane Abbott (Susan Walters).

Billy isn’t so sure as Jack reveals that “all” he has to do is lure the doctor away from his house. This is when Billy points out that what if the man becomes suspicious of him?

It sounds like Jack is hoping to distract Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) long enough to help Diane escape, but will this scheme work?

Billy is right; this doesn’t seem like a feasible way to save Diane, and Dr. Markham is not that gullible.

Right now, Diane is being held hostage at Dr. Markham’s home, under the guise that she’s getting mental health treatment for her breakdown (that never happened).

Dr. Markham may seem “legit,” but fans can tell he’s anything but, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens next in this storyline.

Nikki Newman’s Horrific Diagnosis

As the Young and the Restless preview for the week of June 22 comes to a close, Nikki is with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and it seems like the two ladies are at a hospital.

Both are very emotional as Vicky promises her mom that she’ll do everything she can to fix this. Nikki, who looks horrified replies with, “This cannot be happening!”

Both Nikki and Y&R fans will finally find out what the headaches and dizziness are all about, but based on Nikki and Victoria’s reaction in the clip, viewers need to brace for a major shocker.
