‘The Young And The Restless’ Preview Week Of June 9: Matt’s ‘Cane’ Mission, Shadow Room Drama, Malcolm Shocker

The Young and the Restless preview video for the week of June 9-12 has dropped! Fans can expect to see Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) placed on a ‘Cane Ashby’ (Billy Flynn) mission, while there’s drama during the Shadow Room ‘soft launch’ party.

Victor Newman’s Assignment

The Young and the Restless promo for the week of June 9-12 opens with Matt and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the living room at the Ranch.

As fans know, during the Friday, June 5 episode, Victor informed Matt that he was going to ‘test’ his loyalty, and Matt was all in.

The promo shows Matt telling Victor he’s ready for his assignment to ‘go get’ Cane Ashby.

This is when Victor says, “Soon,” as he nods his head. What kind of assignment is this, and what does Victor have planned for Cane (and Matt) now?

Genoa City’s Shadow Room Opens!

As the scenes shift, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) is shown next, with his mom, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). They are in Genoa City’s Shadow Room, Noah’s new club, both holding drinks.

It’s clearly the opening night of the bar that is a replica of the ‘Shadow Room’ in Los Angeles.

Sharon toasts to the GC Shadow Room and Noah’s success. As the camera pans, there’s a crowd in the establishment who cheer after Sharon’s speech.

Fans can expect to see Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) there, along with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), behind the bar.

There’s sure to be others who attend, and plenty of drama, especially if Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) arrives.

Malcolm Winters Shocks

Speaking of Holden, he’ll get a shocker later on in the week when he realizes his bio dad, Malcolm, is in town.

In fact, Malcolm will surprise a lot of people! A clip during the Young and the Restless promo reveals Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), along with Claire and Holden.

They are at the outdoor café when Malcolm strolls by as he says, “Can I get some of that?” Stephanie is happily caught off guard as she reaches in for a hug.

It’s nice to see Malcolm up and at ‘em so quickly after his surgery … but what brings him back to town?
