The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for the week of May 12, 2025. It shows Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) getting ready to confess. Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) thinks a party will change her grandfather’s mind.

Phyllis Summers’ Betrayal

Let’s begin with Phyllis, who meets with Victor. In the preview clip for next week, Victor asks what information she wants to sell him. Phyllis doesn’t give him any intel that quickly and easily, though.

Phyllis tells the Newman patriarch that she isn’t telling him anything until he promises her something in return.

Billy Abbott Blindsided

Phyllis will clearly tell Victor everything she knows about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Aristotle Dumas.

Billy’s big plan is to get Chancellor back. However, that is likely the same company that Dumas really wants, not Abbott Communications.

However, Billy didn’t tell Phyllis everything. So, that might be what saves him in the end. Billy doesn’t think Phyllis will betray him, but Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) already warned of the possibility. So, does Billy have a plan on how to tackle it once Victor knows his plan?

Mariah Copeland’s Confession

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 12 reveal that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) thinks Mariah’s secret is her fault. Tessa still believes that Mariah doesn’t trust her because of the situation with Ian Ward (Ray Wise).

However, that is when Mariah can’t bear Tessa’s anguish. Mariah turns around and faces her wife, and explains she’s not the one who needs to be forgiven.

Will Mariah finally confess to what she did wrong while out of town? Did she sleep with someone else? Did she kill someone? In soaps, they always make secrets sound so sinister, so we will have to see.

Claire Grace Newman’s Party

Over with Claire, she decides how she’ll change Victor’s mind about her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Claire tells Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that she knows how she can change Victor’s mind.

Victoria looks worried and concerned. However, Nikki is more open to hearing Claire’s grand scheme. That is when Claire declares that she’s gonna throw a party!

I’m not sure how a party will change Victor’s mind, but Claire has something in mind. Will this really help, or is Claire not facing reality?
