Jealously would be one way to describe Theo’s feelings for Kyle. But that take omits the unusual intensity that Mr. Vanderway exhibits toward Mealor’s character. In an almost (or actual) sibling rival manner, Theo just can stop comparing himself to Kyle.
Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) adds further, odd intrigue into this developing storyline. Due to her age and one-time experience with the former friends, her statement to Kyle, about having no hard feelings, seems legit. At the same time, she’s smitten with Theo, which makes Summer her rival. Whether she’s Summer’s long lost sister is another issue for a different day.
Young & The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Attempts To Find Himself
There was an invented catch phrase applied during the era when Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) abandoned her Abbott family. Some people claimed the need to find themselves and so too did she. Shirking the most serious of voluntary obligations, like having Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), along with being married, Dina left her loved ones in pursuit of personal needs.
Y&R presented another one of it’s super cool (using another retro era term) flashback scenes recently, where Cathy Marks played Dina as her younger self, while Jonathan Stoddard played the younger edition of John Abbott (who Jerry Douglas first portrayed, in his real time version, starting in 1982). That was used as a plot vehicle to help establish Jack’s need to temporarily exit Genoa City, Wisconsin, in 2019.

Jack’s attempt to understand his mother’s decisions is partially driving him to find whatever inner peace he believes necessary. His trip to Arizona could also lead to untold personal treasure.
Y&R Spoilers – Conversations With Victor Newman And John Abbott Help
It’s always great when Y&R turns its two male leads toward each other, as viewers have seen them in opposition on so many other occasions. Following various periods of heated strife, fans have been given occasional opportunities to see Jack and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) get along.
Victor needed Jack’s help after he nearly collapsed in the Abbott parking garage earlier this year. A surprise handshake was offered for Jack’s assistance. Jack later took note of periods where Victor’s acuteness was off, with feelings about Dina’s aging process tied into the observation.

The recent conversation Jack and Victor had at Society was a natural, as Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) heads GC’s newest hot spot restaurant. She is the link between the Newman and Abbott families. Through the gab fest (another throwback reference) came Jack’s request to Victor.
The ‘Moustache’ advised Jack that he’s taken trips in the past when needing to find himself. The reigning father of the Abbott clan then took off, being shown with John (as played by Stoddard) in the back seat of his car. Longtime fans took note that was a switch on Douglas’ edition of John appearing to Jack, as had often been the case in recent years.
Young & The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Trying To Protect His New Life
Kyle just got married to the woman of his dreams. Lola Abbot (Sasha Calle) represents someone who is completely different than all of the other women he was involved with, most especially including Summer.
Theo, who crashed the ‘Kola’ wedding with Zoe, was introduced to the audience in recent months as one of Kyle’s New York connections. Johnson’s passive-aggressive behavior toward Kyle isn’t yet fully explainable. One possible answer could be that Jack went off to find himself many years ago, just as his mother had done, and had a son that he was never told about with his name being Theo.
