The Young And The Restless Rumors: Drunken Adam Hits Nick In DUI Accident, Will Sally Forgive Him?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will take the Newman brother feud to an all-time high.

Earlier in the week of November 21, Adam interrupted Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) date by asking the redhead if he could talk to her for a few minutes.

Sally agreed to talk to him and questioned whether he was drunk. Of course, he denied being intoxicated when he asked her to marry him. Later, he showed up at her suite and asked her to marry him again. At this point, Sally must be getting stalker vibes from Adam.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers —Adam Newman Gets Honest With Sally Spectra

Adam believes he and Sally have a magical bond, and it’s only found once in a lifetime. He thinks that Sally will live a depressing life with Nick, never being able to be her true self to fit some ideal Nick placed on her.

If that’s not bad enough, Adam tells Sally that Nick will never love her like she needs because he loves Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Right after that, Adam said Sally was messy, complicated, and flawlessly beautiful.

Adam thinks Nick is using Sally for sex. That’s when Sally realized that Adam was upset about something that had nothing to do with her. She pressed him, and he finally admitted that Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) nervous breakdown was weighing heavily on his mind.

Y&R Spoilers —An Accident Divides The Newmans

With Adam as drunk as he was, he could get into an accident if he got behind the wheel. If Nick didn’t go straight home, he could find himself on Adam’s path. It would devastate the Newman family if Adam hit Nick in a drunk driving accident. And if Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) discovers Adam is the driver, it would result in an epic Newman showdown.

With Victor having such a grudge against Sally, it wouldn’t take much for the concerned dad to forbid both sons to date her. That’s not to say either son will listen to their pops. Nick is in his mid-forties, with Adam 10 years younger, around 35-38.

The more interesting question is how Sally would react. Would she support Nick and stand by his side while he recuperated? Would she ever forgive Adam? How would Victor react to Adam being the driver? This site is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless. Check back regularly for Y&R spoilers and news!

Oh come on writers, don’t you think you have done enough of Adam being the worst child that Victor has. He is always the one that seems to be an openly violent child. What about Nick hitting Adam? Mr. Goody Two Shoe needs some drama in his life. He didn’t even get a punishment for hitting Ashland and knocking him out. I know Victor will sweep it under the rug like everything else he does for his family. I think it’s time for me to change soaps, the Young and Restless writers have lost all creative writing. I think we all felt that when Nick got his first taste of crime (Ashland) he would become Victor’s number one child along with Victoria. Okay, I am done with this soap.
