The Young and the Restless (Y&R) rumors and spoilers indicate there’s a new suspect in the disappearance of Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

A pregnant Mariah’s abrupt exit from Genoa City has everyone concerned. Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) are at odds, while Mariah’s mother Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is worried about her daughter’s safety.

Speculation has already begun about Stitch Rayburn’s (Sean Carrigan) involvement. However, Stitch may not be the person responsible for Mariah’s kidnapping.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Stitch Rayburn’s Suspicious Behavior

Ever since his run-in with Abby, Stich’s behavior has been odd. The doctor was seen outside of the Chancellor mansion spying on Abby through a window.

Stitch has been going through a difficult time because his son Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze) isn’t doing so well. Between Max’s health woes and Stitch reminiscing about the past with Abby, it’s no wonder Stitch’s mindset isn’t in the right place.

Seeing Abby may have sparked an obsession in Stitch. He feels robbed of his life with Abby and their baby. Wanting to recapture what they once had, Stitch has to eliminate anyone standing in their way, including Mariah.

With Mariah gone that means no baby for Abby, which means the exes could reunite and have the second chance they deserve.

Y&R Spoilers – Another Suspect In Mariah’s Kidnapping

Although Stitch is at the top of the suspect list, odds are Y&R may not have him be the culprit. As seen in the past, soaps love to do twists, so someone else could be responsible for Mariah’s disappearance.

As Y&R fans will remember, Max was a difficult child. After the death of his mother, he lived with Stitch and Abby, but complicated matters due to his dislike of his new stepmother. Max’s hatred of Abby increased when she became pregnant.

Max then set up a plan to harm Abby by having her trip down the stairs. His devious plot lead to Abby losing her baby along with her marriage to Stitch. When it was discovered Max had a brain tumor, Stitch left town with his son to get him help.

Y&R Spoilers – Max Rayburn Returns For Revenge Against Abby Newman

During Stitch’s chat with Abby, he mentioned that Max wasn’t doing so well. It appears any treatment to help the troubled boy isn’t working, and he’s getting worse.

Given Max’s condition, chances are he’s a danger to others. With his hatred still lingering, the boy may not have forgotten about his quest for revenge.

Max could’ve followed his dad to Genoa City and upon seeing him with Abby, his anger flared. He blames Abby for the accident that caused his mother’s death. She took somebody from him, and now he’s going to do the same.

Wanting to hurt Abby, Max decided to inflict the same pain he did years earlier, by taking away her baby. Fans saw how deadly Max can get when he sets a plot in motion. With Mariah and the baby’s life at risk, it’ll be a race against time to save them.
