The Young And The Restless: Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso The Young and the Restless spoilers and rumors indicate that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) time in Genoa City is coming to an end.  Earlier this week, news broke that Vilasuso had been fired from the show. Speculation is already starting on how the character will be written out. While many think he’ll be killed off, Rey may leave town after making the biggest betrayal of his life.

Rey is happily married to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), yet Y&R fans know all relationships aren’t perfect. The show has been setting up drama for the couple thanks to Rey’s friendship with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Although Chelsea poisoned Rey, the detective found compassion and forgave the Genoa City bad girl. The two formed a bond when Rey accompanied Chelsea on her trip to visit Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach). Their friendship continued when they came back to town.

In recent weeks, Rey and Chelsea have been spending more time together. Rey and Chelsea enjoy each other’s company, and it’s only a matter of time before sparks fly. Although Rey is committed to Sharon, he may find himself cheating on his wife with Chelsea.

After Rey and Chelsea hit the sheets, he’ll immediately feel guilt over his actions. He’ll be left over a huge dilemma over what to do. Does he tell his wife in hopes she’ll forgive him? Or does he keep quiet?

Rey considers himself a good guy, and plays by the book. Yet, he’ll make the biggest regret in cheating on Sharon. He knows sleeping with Chelsea is wrong, but he couldn’t resist.

While he wants to forget about the incident, it’ll be easier said than done. Chelsea’s feelings for Rey are genuine, and she’ll be upset when he tries to end their affair. Given Chelsea’s a schemer, she’ll be causing trouble for Rey and Sharon.

While Rey tries to keep his tryst with Chelsea a secret, the truth will eventually come out. No matter if he tells her or someone else does, it’ll be heartbreaking for Sharon.

The couple have had their problems in the past, mainly because of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Sharon’s kiss with Adam nearly destroyed her marriage, but Rey forgave her. However, Sharon won’t be so forgiving when she learns of his affair with Chelsea.

Sharon’s been cheated on in the past and it’s always gut-wrenching dealing with the betrayal. She loves Rey and thought he was different, but she realizes he isn’t the good guy he thinks he is.

Rey will try everything to salvage his marriage, but it may be too late. As much as Sharon loves him, she can’t get past his betrayal. After kicking him out, Rey will be at a loss.

Yet, as with many soap opera characters, he may leave town for a fresh start, leaving the door open for a possible return. When and if Rey does return, will he choose Sharon or Chelsea?

    Wow I knew it, Rey did hit the sheets with Chelsea, when he took her to Minnesota to see her mom Anita. That is one secret he held to himself not telling his wife Sharon what he did while he was gone, its been bothering him and is this the only reason he is leaving y & r before he leaves he should tell his wife about his infidelity.

    I don't think he has yet Louisa, but its obvious he's going to. I don't think Chelsea's capable of going this long without making it least one reference to it or she or Ray having an actual flashback, not a dream.
