This caused Ashley to come up with a plan, where she made Jack believe that John wasn’t his son. Due to the blood clause, Jack had to step down as CEO and Billy (Jason Thompson) took his place. Yet, after it was revealed that Billy was gambling again, he was voted out as CEO and Traci (Beth Maitland) took his place. Her first order of business was to remove the blood clause and appoint Ashley as the new CEO.

When Ashley’s plan was revealed, the family was angry with her and soon voted her out as CEO. But that wasn’t the end of the Jabot drama. When documents were discovered that John had given Ashley the patent rights for all the products she created, Jack and Kyle (Michael Mealor) tried to destroy them. But Traci discovered their scheme and revealed the news to Ashley.
Despite attempts to soothe things over with Ashley, including giving her the CEO position back, Ashley refused his offer. Instead she opted to take her patents and leave town.
With Ashley leaving, Jabot’s future is at stake. The number one issue is appointing a new CEO. Jack, Kyle, and Billy are going to be vying for the coveted spot at the company; while Traci and the rest of the board will have to decide who the right candidate is.
As we’ve seen in the past, when it comes to the battle for the top spot in a company, things can get tense. Kyle has already shown he’ll do whatever it takes to get ahead at Jabot, even getting his uncle to start gambling again.
With the Jabot CEO position up for grabs, these men are going to do whatever it takes to get the job. But will one of them get the position or will someone besides a family member swoop in and run Jabot?
