The Young and The Restless Spoilers: 3 Reasons Why Theo Becomes The Abbott Family’s ‘Adam’

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) was just snubbed by the Abbott family in a major way and that could mean trouble. When the Genoa City, Wisconsin Abbott family matriarch died her family was around her to say goodbye—everyone except Theo. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) made sure to call the family to rally around Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) but he left out her grandson Theo.
This wasn’t a smooth move nor a good look for Jack. Theo is already angry at life, will he use this slap in the face as a reason to get payback on his family like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has done to the Newman family? Here are three reasons why Theo could pull an Adam and become the thorn in his family’s side.
#1 He Was Left Out Of Dina Mergeron’s Farewell
Poor Theo was left out of Dina’s final hours on earth. No one called him even though he had formed a bond with Dina. Sure, he came late to the Abbott family party, but Dina accepted him and Jack made a big deal out of welcoming him and wanting to get to know him. Theo is the son of Dina’s secret love child and as such he should have been there to say farewell to his grandmother. He had just as much right as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
#2 He Snitched Out Kyle Abbott’s Humiliation
Speaking of Kyle, there is no love lost between Kyle and Theo. They were frenemies back in the day in New York but now it seems the gloves are off. Kyle set up Theo to take a fall with Jack by feeding him bogus info about a business pitch. And it seems that Theo still holds a grudge why else would he have ratted out Kyle’s humiliation online? When Theo found out that Summer Newman (Hunter King) dumped Kyle he blasted the news and has yet to show his guilty face.
#3 He’s In Between Women And Old Habits Die Hard
Theo has no arm candy at the moment and that makes him dangerous. With Summer he had a distraction from his shenanigans, and with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) he had a conscience. Now he’s free to stir the pot and it looks like he has a good start by outing Kyle. Is he about to pull another dirty trick and turn into the Abbott version of Adam Newman?

Just plain rotten on everyone's part not to include Theo in the gathering around Dina. He is as much her grandson as the rest of Kyle and Abbey. What ever he does I do not blame him at all. It appears to me they are a bunch of phonies. Theo had a relationship with his grandmother and was robbed by not given the chance to say goodbye to her. You can see how that affected him and for that, Theo, that was not ok for you not to be there.

Very, very wrong for the way the Abbotts treated Theo, if that is the way they welcome their new family members then I wouldn't want to be their enemy , guess they have the same thing in common as Nick and Victoria , they use their no vacancy sign to make sure that no one enters their fort, not even in death that whole episode was very cold and inconsiderate towards Theo, but Theo isn't the only one who missed out on Dina. Kenio Jack's first son did also , I wonder when Dina return home did Jack had memory loss before Dina because not once did Jack mention Kenio to Dina , just feel so bad for Theo he should have been included for those final moments. And Kenio should have retun from China to meet his grandmother, so tired of Jack and everything been about Kyle and very disappointed with the writer's and how they did this story line…
I agree with Mook. It was a horrible thing to do. I couldn't believe Jack didn't call Theo at the time. Will Kyle tell Jack about his running into Theo? I wish Theo would go over to the Abbot's and tell Jack what he thinks of him.
He could have gone to the house. What does he need a special invitation to come to the house. If he considers himself a member of the family, he could've called them or simply gone over there.
Theo will lash out. They treated him poorly.
