CBS The Young and The Restless updates and spoilers reveal, Summer? Lola? Summer? Lola? Or maybe Lummer or Sola? However way you see it, there’s a small chance that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will settle down with the right woman, whether it’s Summer Newman, (Hunter King) Lola Rosales, (Sasha Calle) or the next beautiful blonde or brunette he will meet.
Here are five reasons why Kyle is destined to become a forever bachelor.
Kyle Abbot’s A Flip-Flopper
One huge reason why Kyle Abbott will never settle down or be happily married is that he’s an unfaithful flip-flopper (but then again, who isn’t in this town of Genoa City, right?). Kyle doesn’t have what it takes to be a dedicated boyfriend, fiancé, or husband simply because he doesn’t have the right role models in his life. He was always surrounded by people who would use each other for their own personal agendas, leading Kyle to believe that’s what real love is. Unfortunately for him, he’s still got a lot to learn about the basics when it comes to love and relationships.
The Young and The Restless Updates – Kyle Abbott Always Wants What He Can’t Have
Kyle Abbott is the kind of person that always wants what he can’t have. Even though he once proclaimed to be madly in love with Lola Rosales and was willing to do anything for her (including getting Summer to donate her liver to Lola), he then goes off to San Francisco and passionately kisses Summer when no one is around. Kyle is the kind of person who can’t stick with just one flavor because he clearly wants them all.
A Spoiled Abbott Son
While Kyle Abbott is many things to many people, very few people would deny that he is a spoiled Abbott son. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Kyle is used to getting everything that he wants in life, whether it’s a brand new car, a vacation to the Maldives, or a position in the family company. The Young and The Restless spoilers reveal when it comes to his love life, things don’t work that same way. He can’t just flip a switch and say that one day he wants to marry Lola Rosales while on the next day he wants to be with Summer Newman. These two women certainly aren’t interested in sharing rent in Kyle’s heart with each other.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbot Lacks The Charisma His Father Has
Let’s face it: Kyle is no Jack Abbott. While Jack has certainly had his fair share of relationships, passionate one-night stands failed marriages, and broken hearts, he’s got the kind of charisma that will bring back the same exes he did wrong in the past, just because his personality truly is that magnetic. Unfortunately for Kyle, the same cannot be said. Jack Abbott is the kind of person who walks in the room and commands instant attention, with everyone either wanting to be with him or be him. Meanwhile, there are some people in Genoa City who just want to give Kyle a taste of his own medicine.
He’s In A Relationship With Himself
Simply put, if there’s one person that Kyle Abbott loves more than anyone else in this world, it’s himself. He can chase all day after people like Summer Newman and Lola Rosales but at the end of the day, Kyle is going to do whatever Kyle wants to do. His main focus in life is pleasing himself and that’s why he will never settle down with the woman of his dreams, let alone any other woman in Genoa City. Sure, nepotism can get him far at Jabot, but when it comes to his personal life, Y&R Kyle will always be missing out on the opportunity to love and be loved.

I think yes, if the writers write it that way. No one can live running around like man whore all the time. We have seen the potentials in him when he was with Lola but Summer& Theo kept interfering in their relationship.
Kyle was not a likeable character until he met Lola. The Kyle and Lola love story had what it takes to pull fans in. Personally I think the writers made a huge mistake throwing together the rushed and poorly written tailspin back to Summer. It didn’t make sense to fans who follow the Storylines and invest in their favorite characters and the show. It felt that the return to Summer storyline was more about pleasing the actress and not having Summer’s character overshadowed by Lola than it was about pleasing the shows loyal fans. The writers dealt the show a really negative blow with that storyline decision.
Kyle will be the man they create. What a ridiculous article. They decided to ruin him when they sent him on a kamikazi trip with Summer and set him on a course to destroy his marriage without a fight. We could see them constructing this path to tear down a good man and make him a weak and trivial and most of us were angry. They get what they deserve.
