‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Abbott Family Unhinged Over Dina & Theo Shocker

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that the Abbott family was warned to be wise to Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). But everyone wanted to believe that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) call was the extension of a personal grudge. It wasn’t.

Once again Kyle has been proven right about Theo, who is working with Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland). He hopes Woodland’s returned character will be able to help him seize every last bit of Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) estate. But knowing Theo, his objective hasn’t been fully revealed.

Theo can’t possibly believe that he’s entitled to Dina’s full inheritance. Instead, he’s likely hoping that Brittany can legally secure a percentage settlement. Theo also promised Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a piece of the action for helping.

Eric Vanderway (a part that was never cast for this deceased character) was Dina’s first-born child, who she had with Stuart Brooks (Robert Colbert). That part of Dina’s backstory was revealed last year when Theo was written into the show.

Dina did leave a pen to Eric in her will. But her Alzheimer’s condition didn’t allow time to be able to adjust her final wishes with Theo in mind. So, his pursuit is reasonable.

Y&R Spoilers – Never Part Of The Family

Theo never felt welcomed into the Abbott side of his family for a number of reasons. His personal battles with Kyle often took center stage and served to make gatherings ever-awkward.

The Teardrop of Love incident served to spark Theo’s fury. Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) decision to share parts of the famous emerald, his father once gave to Dina, was the last privileged straw.

However, Theo did lighten the mood at Dina’s wake that was held at Society. Little did Abbott’s know what he was plotting in his mind as those hours of music and physically distanced dancing played out.

Theo’s pending write-out is happening, as Johnson recently advised on social media that he left the cast. So, fans are wondering what happens next.

Kyle would get the last laugh if Theo’s legal efforts go nowhere. But if Theo is able to secure some percentage of their grandmother’s inheritance, then Kyle will surely be upset.

Viewers will soon see if Theo leaves town with a realized bounty, gets nothing, and bitterly departs, or is written out in some dramatic fashion that creates further fallout.
