Chance’s colleagues were said to have been killed in the blast, which sets Floyd’s character on a path for revenge. That is not the happy homecoming scenario Abby envisioned these past months.
Ordway’s character, Abby’s loved ones, and the audience patiently (or impatiently) waited for some resolution to this storyline. Well, it has arrived, and compelling drama follows.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Thank You Y&R
Some may not be as generous. But thanks are offered to TPTB for finally, after ever long last, ending the Chance-based dilemma.
Last winter, Donny Boaz (Chance) returned to the cast after being out for a brief period because he was diagnosed with the virus. His absence allowed Justin Gaston (the Chance pinch hitter), who has been married to Ordway for several years, to play wedding scenes with his real-life wife.
The on-screen couple made the best of their honeymoon, which provided enjoyable comic relief, and then Chabs returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin. Boaz returned as well, and all seemed to be right on Y&R.
Then, Chance was summoned by the Agency for what turned out to be a nine-plus month mission. That is over.
Y&R Spoilers – Seeking To Right A Wrong
The teased scenario that Chance survived unfortunately included the deaths of some colleagues. The character Floyd now plays was believed to be the intended target of the strike. So he feels driven to respond.
Abby will not be in favor of Chance pursuing a dangerous revenge plan. The feelings of relief both halves of Chabs are experiencing will be overtaken by passionate disagreement.
Chance’s focus must be Dominic Newman Abbott Chancellor (no baby actor known to be cast for this role) and Abby. He needs to let the authorities handle unsettled business.
Abby did not follow that path. But her consideration was fueled by love rather than reprisal.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chabs Reunites And Then Divides?
Abby and Chance should accept the invitations to peace that the Christmas season and other holiday seasons offer. They need to return to GC and begin raising Dom together, as was their original plan.
So, will the writing staff push this likable pairing into a couple’s drama where divorce results?
The question can not be answered with a yes and hopefully never will be.

I honestly don't care what Abby does. I just don't want to watch anymore of her tedious sniveling. This character and her story has turned from promising to trash. The pretty actress now sadly reminds me of one of those ugly Troll dolls, there has been so many ugly, blubbering close ups. Her episodes now depress me they are all so negative and uninteresting. I just want to see some other more interesting characters. Since covid and extreme weather causing catastrophes I would like to watch something to take my mind off all this sadness. Having to watch cry baby Abby is tedious and depressing.
I hope they Don't when Abby tells Chance that Devon is the baby's bio Daddy. He will be furious with her.
I really do not care. What I do not understand is how was Abby able to do something Victor's highly experienced security guys could not do. They could not even fine Abby and she went in less than two days, I believe, and fined Chance.
