The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Gives Phyllis Her Hotel Shares, Jack's Bad News, and Victor and Nick ArgueThe Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday February 28th indicate that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) gives Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) her shares of the hotel, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has bad news, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) get into an argument.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor and Nick’s argument

At the hospital, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is awake as Victor, Nick, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are at her bedside. Nick and Nikki leave so Victor can talk with Victoria. She then asks her father who hurt her.

Nick and Nikki are in the waiting room, and Nikki mentions that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) snuck into Victoria’s room and was there when she woke up. Nick is angry to learn Billy defied their orders. Victor comes out to join them and say Victoria wanted answers about what happened. Victor says he didn’t explain the situation because Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) is still on the run. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) comes in to see the family and says that Victoria will be released tonight. When Victor asks about her recovery, Nate says it’s hard to determine and her emotional trauma may be the toughest part to heal.

Victor and Nick then discuss Newman Enterprises, and Victor mentions how Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) offered to step in to run the company. Nick is upset and says Adam can’t be in charge of the company. Victor says it’s his decision and he’ll make the best choice for Newman Enterprises. Nick continues to argue about why Adam’s a bad choice, then storms off. Victor remarks to Nikki that Nick will come around, but Nikki’s skeptical.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jack’s bad news

Jack stops by the Grand Phoenix to see Abby. He tells her Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adam) condition is getting worse. She has little appetite and she’s sleeping more. He says it’s not looking good and they need to prepare themselves for the inevitable. Abby says this is going to be hard for her mother Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

Later Jack is at Society calling Ashley. He tells her Dina’s health is deteriorating and she needs to come home. Adam then comes in and sits down with Jack. The two start chatting about Adam making amends, and Dina’s deteriorating health. The discussion then switches to Victor, and Jack knows that Adam’s rejoining the Newman family so he can prove himself to Victor. When Adam reveals he offered to run Newman Enterprises, Jack is stunned, but encourages Adam to go for it. Adam thanks Jack for his support. He says he knows his time as CEO is going to be brief when Victoria does return. Jack then offers Adam a piece of advice, he tells him to let Victor make the first move.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby gives Phyllis what she wants

After Jack leaves, Phyllis comes in and when Abby brings up the second lawsuit, she’s shocked. Abby mentions that the lawsuits will hurt Phyllis’ stake in the hotel and wants to know why she still wants the place. Phyllis says she can easily make the lawsuits disappear and suggests Abby rethink her decision to sign over her shares. Abby once again refuses, but Phyllis says she shouldn’t delay the decision any longer.

Later Abby makes a phone call and fires her attorney, Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) is nearby listening to the conversation. Afterwards Amanda asks Abby on an update about Victoria and is happy to learn she’s woken up. The discussion then turns to Abby’s situation and Amanda offers her help, and Abby says Amanda’s friend Phyllis is trying to ruin her. Amanda mentions how much the hotel means to Abby, and Abby says it’s one of her biggest accomplishments and she doesn’t want everyone assuming Phyllis beat her. Amanda says people form their own opinions, and says winning has different meanings for people.

Abby then leaves, and Phyllis comes in to chat with Amanda, who asks Phyllis if all this drama she’s causing is worth ownership of the hotel. Phyllis says the Grand Phoenix was her baby, but Abby stole it from her. As Phyllis vows to make Abby’s life miserable until she gets the hotel, Amanda looks up to see Abby standing behind Phyllis. Abby orders a round of drinks and says she’s taking Amanda’s advice. She’s done fighting with Phyllis and agrees to hand over her shares. She hands over the papers, which Phyllis examines. Abby then tells Phyllis she brought he place across the street and vows to take down Phyllis and the Grand Phoenix. Phyllis tells Abby to bring it on, and Abby responds it’s been brought.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance vows to eliminate Phyllis

Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) stops by Adam’s penthouse to vent about Phyllis. He talks about how she’s a threat to them and vows to eliminate her. He says he’s not going to do any physical harm, although Phyllis’ ego may take a hit. He plans to find the recordings she’s using as part of her blackmail scheme. When Adam asks how he fits in with the plan, Chance says he wants Adam’s blessing, and the two shake hands.

Later Chance stops by the Chancellor mansion to ask for Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) help with a job. When Kevin asks about the job, Chance explains about the recordings Phyllis has. He thinks the recordings are on a laptop and flashdrive. Kevin is suspicious about being involved, and Chance assures him it’s a private matter and no one will know he’s part of the plan. Kevin says if he’s going to do this job, he needs to be compensated. Chance writes down a number on a piece of paper, and when Kevin looks at it he agrees to a deal.
