The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will battle over Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) over the next few weeks. Adam isn’t happy about Billy’s involvement with Chelsea and tries to discourage their friendship.

Billy promised Chelsea he would be there for her as she battles depression and reclaims her life. He doesn’t want anything from her but friendship. However, Adam and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) aren’t happy about their connection, doing everything in their power to destroy their bond.

Lily expressed her concerns with Chelsea about Billy. She told her that it was impossible for Billy to be there for her and live his own life. While Lily didn’t mean that Billy and Chelsea couldn’t be friends, she wanted Chelsea to understand that he has his own life, relationship, and children.

The chat with Lily made Chelsea feel like she was overstepping boundaries. She tried to take a step back, only to have Billy show up at her apartment with snacks and a movie. He needed Chelsea at that moment as much as she did.

Billy’s connection to Chelsea is causing a strain on his relationship with Lily. She doesn’t feel like she’s the center of his world. He jumps at the chance to answer Chelsea’s calls and spends a lot of time with her. Waiting to entertain Lily is her ex and high school sweetheart, Daniel Romalotti, Jr (Michael Graziadei). He is pretending to only want friendship from Lily, but most Y&R viewers think Daniel is working Lily with a bigger plan at work.
