The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) told his father, during a heated argument, that he offered Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) the Information Technology job at Adustus. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took the news as further evidence that Adam does not play well in the Newman family and has no interest in learning how to do so.

Bringing Phyllis into the company is by design. Adam wants her to help stir the pot and keep various people off-balance.

Intriguingly, Phyllis asks Adam to help her take down Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), who currently has her under his soapy thumb.

So, it was inspiring to see Victor hitting the heavy bag at the Ranch. The solo scene was reminiscent of Braeden being shown doing the same many times, either alone or with a boxing partner, like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Victor took out his frustrations in the exercise room at the Ranch after having another verbal sparring session with Adam. It was yet another sign of how the head of the Newman family tries to channel his energy into something productive.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Needs A Way Out

Phyllis has limited options. So, she agreed to fight Tucker by aligning with Adam, which is a major concession.

Telling Adam that Tucker has her under his control is an admission she does not like making. However, she needs a guy with a good hook who can knock out Tucker.

The plan to use Carson (no last name known for the Emergency Medical Technician played by Walter Belenky) is contingent upon Phyllis getting back in Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) good graces. Tucker has not seen evidence of her being close to doing so and is threatening to pull his support that she was counting on to stay out of jail.
