The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) threw Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) off. He feigned nobility, claiming that he was not best for her. But Adam coupled with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) soon thereafter.

Is it too biting and disingenuous to tag Adam as an ogre where Chelsea is concerned? Maybe. And, it is understood that she tried to frame him for Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso).

But Adam is the person who, not so long ago in story line time, had Chelsea kidnapped, which led to her stroke.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Is Connor Newman’s Mother

If not for Chelsea, who knows where Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) would be. Viewers recall that Mackey’s character suffered a mental collapse while Adam was engaging in one of his many me-first pursuits of self-exploration.

Connor jumped off a jungle gym, which put him in a cast. News of what happened shocked Adam into recognizing the Connor’s parental responsibilities should not be pushed off on Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Sally is the mother to no child. That lack of blood ties allows her interest to be fixed where Adam likes it, on him, at least for the moment.

Y&R Spoilers – Sally Spectra Is Chelsea 2.0

Viewers recall that one of Chelsea’s business ventures sported the moniker Chelsea 2.0. It is fair to assert that Sally is the living embodiment of who Chelsea was before motherhood.

Sally tried to couple with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) after crossing over from The Bold and the Beautiful. Unlike Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), Jack’s storied relationship experience allowed him to see that Sally was too risky a proposition.

Adam caught Sally’s eye next. It took persistence, but she won him over. Now, they are inseparable, with Chelsea being yesterday’s news in Adam’s mind.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Repeating A Pattern

If Adam is Adam, he will eventually reach a confrontation with Sally that causes them to split. He will inevitably seek Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) or Chelsea’s shoulder to cry on at that point in the plot.

Sharon remains fond of Adam but is no longer in love with him. But if Chelsea remains single, it is possible she could take him back with the intent of reviving their family as the rationalized intent.

However, Chelsea appears to have learned more lessons than Adam. Plus, she is highly appealing and does not project to long-term forever single status.
