The big question is, will the truce last, even if the reason is for the sake of their children?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Negatively Affected

Adam and Victoria have two very important things in common other than sharing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as a father, therefore sharing the Newman name. Those very important “things” are Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) who share a problematic birth mother, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Recently, the two boys’ lives have been upended and their security disturbed by Chelsea’s insistence on revealing that she is Johnny’s birth mother.

Both boys were just fine thinking that they were cousins through Adam and Victoria, but now Chelsea’s interference in trying to force a brother bond between them has caused emotional harm. Their senses of stability have even been disturbed, and Adam and Victoria decide a truce between them may help restore it.

Y & R Spoilers – Connor Newman Affected Worse

Connor’s affected worse than Johnny, and that is possibly because he’s younger; he has another half-brother on Adam’s side but they never got along either. Connor acted out when his mom was with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and bullied his younger half-brother Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). This time around, with finding out Johnny was his brother on his mom’s side and adopted cousin on his dad’s was even worse.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Connor accused Chelsea of wanting to replace him with Johnny, and as for Johnny, he hates her and wants nothing to do with her. And Adam and Victoria can see Chelsea is already emotionally dependent on Connor, and wants Johnny to fill an internal emotional void as well – which children are not meant to do.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Children’s Welfare First

One of the very few things that Adam and Victoria agree on is that the children’s welfare must come first, and even Johnny’s father will agree with Adam on that. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Adam are longtime enemies, ever since Adam accidentally ran over and killed Billy’s daughter with Chloe Mitchell, (Elizabeth Hendrickson) Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono). Something must be done to restore Johnny and Connor’s sense of stability, and friction between Adam and Victoria isn’t going to do it, the boys need peace.

Chelsea continues to spiral and something must be done, even if it means Adam pushing for sole custody of Connor. Right now, she’s a stability killing influence on both of her birth sons.
