Victor is not sitting in the executive suite and his portrait hangs in another room in the Newman Towers. However, he remains in control as his children are teased to realize.

Victor offered a chance for him to head a new business he created. That was Newman Media, where Adam ran the company smartly. But the Moustache felt compelled to sell it to Newman Enterprises, putting Adam under Victoria’s control.
Adam left Newman Media, partly to smite his father. He also wanted to help Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) preserve her career at that point in the plot.
Grossman’s character believed Newman Media would be different than the times he worked for his father at Newman Enterprises. It was not, which made Adam’s acceptance to head the acquired McCall Unlimited questionable.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Making Money
Victoria has convinced herself that all is well since the company is making big profits and obtaining valuable assets. But Victor reinforced in recent months that family was his focus.
So, pushing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) out of his Chief Operating Officer’s role was a red flag. Victor advised his daughter against forcing that move but she did so anyway.
Coupling with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) would be okay by Victor if he was not one of Victoria’s top executives who she also gave Nick’s COO job, supposedly on an interim basis. So, like Adam, Victoria is not pleasing her father and that will result in cascading consequences.

Victor felt compelled to step back from the day-to-day Chief Executive Officer spot because of his rare blood disease. But the Moustache remains the founder and will be the top dog as long as he lives.
It does not seem that Victor wants to be in charge of McCall Unlimited or Newman Enterprises. But he does believe it is necessary to teach Adam and Victoria individual lessons that are also warnings on Y&R.

Victoria really needs to be knocked off her pedestal asap she has become to cocky and Adam should be given a chance to prove what he can do but he is always knocked down or lied to in my estimation she is a selfish bitch
