Along with the above is Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) continued presence in Genoa City, Wisconsin. He’s been trying to leave town for a number of weeks, but Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) increasing health problems, eventual collapse, and need for emergency surgery, due to a stroke, has kept Chadam around.

Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) has been repeatedly humiliated by the amoral attacks of some in her peer group, which many her age naively put far too much stock in. The lack of self-control and understanding of psychological consequences among people her age drive the feckless assaults that are occurring under their parent’s noses.
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) would be all over what’s happening if she knew the full story. But she’s been distracted by a successful cancer fight, her just realized marriage to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), and Adam’s never-ending issues.
So, Chance Com’s hit piece on Adam, which included information about Faith being stolen at birth from Sharon and given to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), provided fodder for many immature GC jackals.

Adam’s family members would be rallying around him within a normal family dynamic. Despite all that’s happened, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is standing by his still troubled son. But Adam’s siblings and other connected relatives aren’t sympathetic to his plight.
Chelsea’s paralyzed and mute condition has created a serious reordering of Chadam’s priorities. Plus, something will need to be said to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) in the very near future, as he doesn’t know what’s happened to his mother.
Y&R Spoilers – Dysfunctional Family Dynamic Sparks Next Confrontation?
The terribly negative influence Jordan (no last name known for this character who’s played by Madison Thompson) has on Faith furthers the potential for a more explosive effect. Jordan’s overly protective stance toward Faith is already evident. So, it’s fair to project that she’ll tell Lind’s character to avoid restraint where Adam is concerned.
Adam has compassion for Faith, which is tied to his feelings for Sharon. So, he’s not likely to do anything to her daughter that he once wronged.
But if Adam is targeted by Faith it’s plausible to believe that he would see that as a threat to Chelsea’s recovery. Yes, this is a tense period for the Newman family, with these two unstable members on a seeming collision course.

Faith's problems shouldn't be so easily dismissed as Adams fault. Adam has played his part but to be fair the closer parental role models would have had more influence and negative impact. Two parents that have had how many showdowns at the alter. The manly, wicked stepmother who is always jumping into bed with daddy just when Faith thought her parents were getting back together. Then there is lying grandpa who will visit at school spinning a pack of lies for his own ends. No, Adam shouldn't get all the blame for Faith's PTSD, let's see everyone for once acknowledge their part in her privileged but dysfunctional life.
You are so right and you definitely can’t leave out silly for not thinking about everybody his little expose’ would affect. He should shoulder a chunk of the blame too. Every time silly,adam, and victor start trying to destroy each other there’s collateral damage.In this case Faith is the collateral damage and silly should have considered how this would impact her life. But these three guys don’t care about anybody but themselves. Especially Adam he’s worse than all of them…
Initially Adam stole Faith from Sharon at birth to replace the baby that he caused Ashley to lose when he was haunting her she fell down the stairs in the dark and lost her baby. Ok having said that what is going on with Faith right now isn't really all Adam's fault ..Billy made sure the story came out publicly and that so called good friend of Faith's is the one behind the texts bullying her hopefully she will be found out soon . She can blame Adam but there is plenty of blame to go around starting with Billy , then this so called friend who keeps texting her bullying her making it seem like it is a group of kids. What is wrong with Sharon and Nick they know she's spiralling out of control ..why are they not going through her phone and looking at those texts..that's due diligence that's what concerned parents do …instead they do all this talking about what's wrong instead of trying to find out what's going on !
