The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) came clean to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Admitting that he was scamming everyone, including her, led to a breakthrough. Sally was recently dumped by Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who refused to remain involved because he sensed her heart was with his younger brother. It did not take her long to realize that Nick was right, as Morrow’s character stressed.

Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is not fully focused on Adam. He is splitting his suspicion between him and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), believing that one of them will make the first move to take power.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Convinced He Broke His Father

Adam told Sally that he pushed Victor too hard and broke his father’s mind. Viewers, along with Nick and now, Victoria, have been let in on the secret Victor has been keeping from everyone except Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Victor is not losing his marbles. He still has no scruples, in gaslighting his children but is as sharp as ever.

But Adam is out of the loop on the above. He has contacted a doctor and plans to have Victor’s psychological analysis.

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Working With Nate Hastings

Victor summoned Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to the Ranch. He repeated a line that Adam recently heard, telling Nate he was the only one he trusted.

It appears as though Victor believed Nick would share the reveal with Victoria and is using Nate to further the game.

While Victoria is loyal to her father, Victor must be wondering if she will act to take control of the company based on the realization of Victor’s betrayal. Why else admit the truth to Nick is not to set up Victoria differently than Adam?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman At The Chess Board

The classic living room shot of Victor sitting at his beloved and magnificent chess board was classic. His favorite game involves contemplation and anticipation of the opponent’s moves.

Victor is watching to see if Adam tries to have him declared incompetent and uses that to seize power. The Moustache is also keenly aware that he purposely provoked Victoria and may be doing that again.

Victoria is a great chess player herself, possessing a far greater ability than Adam to control her emotions and not make reckless mistakes. That ability could make her a great threat to her father and younger brother on Y&R.
