CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the shocking speculation that Adam Wilson (Mark Grossman) is responsible for Adam Newman almost being murdered. Did Adam plan to die along with his Genoa City, Wisconsin family who he marked for death with a bomb he never got a chance to detonate?
Right now the suspicion is that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was behind the hit that failed when Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) got in the way playing the hero. He spied the assassin on the roof ready to pick off Adam and shoved him out of the way, taking a bullet for his friend.
How could he have known that Adam Wilson was ready to die along with old Adam Newman and made all the arrangements to make it happen?

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was so thoroughly disgusted with his family that he wanted them all dead for how they treated him. But once they were dead, there was nothing left for him. He had already signaled his intentions by changing his last name to disavow his family.
What he didn’t count on was his plan falling apart miserably when Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) escaped from his secret lair. Why else would he have gone to all the trouble of having her drugged and kidnapped if he didn’t plan an elaborate and final sendoff for himself and his “loved ones?”

Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) are on the case and all signs point to Billy being the shooter. Why wouldn’t they if his enemy Adam hadn’t planned it that way?
What better way for Adam to accomplish all of his nefarious worldly goals than to place the blame on Billy at the same time?

One thing Everyone seems to Forget in these Speculations about Faith or Rey or Billy boy being the Shooter is: Adam had been calling someone else and told them to stand down! Remember Adam was directing someone else during this latest Fiasco!
Therefore Quit trying to blame Faith or Rey etc…
Put nothing past Adam!
I still think Adam payed someone to pretend to shoot at him to make it look like someone want to kill him because all his family would be dead now so they won't think he had killed his family and that why he had Chelsea kidnapped because he didn't want her to go to Newman building but he called it off but the shooter had already got payed and didn't want Adam to point a finger later MAYBE THEO COULD BE THE ONE THAT ADAM GOT TO DO HIS DIRTY WORK because he was broke and would do anything for money JMO ⚘
