Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Will Want To Know What Simon Black Wanted

After the fearful hostage situation is over at The Grand Phoenix, thanks to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) having trailed Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) to Genoa City and the hotel, Adam will want to know exactly what kind of business it was that he overheard Chelsea and Simon discussing before he went postal! Chelsea may reply that it’s none of his business, but he would shoot back that since he nearly got killed and their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) was in danger, that makes it his business!

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Knows Chelsea Lawson’s Past

Adam and Chelsea were once married, that is how Connor came about. They lived in Kansas on his mother’s farm, and that is where Chelsea thought they were when they unexpectedly showed up at the hotel; more than likely Connor wanted to give it one more try at getting Mommy to come with him and Daddy to the farm, since he had asked before. He knows her past and that she’s not always been squeaky clean and he certainly is no angel either, nor has he ever claimed to be.

He will probably be wondering if Simon slithered in from some sleazy situation in Chelsea’s con-woman past and if he was looking for payback for that reason. Adam also knows that Chelsea was widowed right after she came back to Genoa City, with Calvin Boudreau (John Burke) having keeled over with a heart attack in Chelsea’s hotel room, but he may not be aware of Calvin having some questionable financial dealings, which as Y & R viewers know, is really what drew him to town, to retrieve some money Calvin owed him and by extension, Chelsea. Simon was probably a loan shark who Calvin borrowed money from.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Will Continue To Interrogate Chelsea Lawson

Adam will continue to interrogate Chelsea until he gets the truth out of her because for one thing, he will want to be sure that Simon won’t have any “little friends” that might come looking for her in the future, and looking for payback in his behalf! He won’t want any more danger to come crawling out of the woodwork looking for Chelsea, and he won’t want any more dangerous situations like the one he narrowly escaped along with Connor to ever come up again.

He will want assurance that this was the end of it and neither he, Connor nor Chelsea will have to keep watching their backs as they live their lives! Chances are, she will finally comply and tell him the truth of what Simon Black wanted from her and how he implied threats towards Connor, and even though she played a tough game Simon played tougher!
