Adam knew that Sally would believe the N was for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Adam’s deception set Sally off. But then Adam sweet-talked her.

A nice dinner was had. Adam was charming as usual. Sally accepted the front part of his apology. But then he mentioned Nick, and that set her off again.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Puts Foot-In-Mouth

Adam talks well until he talks too much. Sally was impressed by his pitch until he threw a ball over the catcher’s head during this playoff baseball season.

Sally perceived Adam’s mention of her embrace of Nick as a revealing insult. She believes that Adam was not apologizing but playing a game where she was the prize he would lord over his older brother.

But Adam was working without a net because of how he coldly dropped her in the recent past. Nick has proven to be different to date.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Is The Antidote

Nick is different than Adam. But he shares an interesting history with him as well.

The brothers have been involved with the same ladies on multiple occasions, with Sally being the most recent woman both love. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) have many stories to tell.

Sally sees Nick as refreshing. He is far less intense and is not out to get Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), right now. But Nick’s long-term track record with the ladies in Genoa City, Wisconsin, is arguably comparable with Adam’s.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Needs To Commit

Adam is someone Sally retains feelings for. But because Nick came along, Sally is far more likely to give up her Adam addiction.

So, Adam made his grand gesture. He, like Nick, wanted to gauge Sally’s temperature.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) influences her new best friend. Sally should return from the failed dinner open to Chloe’s point of view, with Nick being the only smart choice.

Sally appears to believe that Adam is undigestible. Nick projects as husband material. His confidence should give Sally the same, and his patience is something that is not one of Adam’s personality traits on Y&R.
