Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is out of town, and when the cat’s away, the mice might play! Adam Newman is again giving into his codependent victim tendencies and seeking solace from Sharon, or so it would appear. Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Adam and Sharon were involved in this codependent “dance” of fixer and needy, with Adam “needing” Sharon and Sharon trying to “fix” Adam.

Adam shows up at Crimson Lights shortly before closing time. There, he and she have a conversation about Adam’s life of late, and he brings up to Sharon that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) might have faked her breakdown. Rey is actually out of town because he is on assignment keeping an eye on Chelsea, her mother Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) and their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to make sure that Chelsea doesn’t pull a fast one and run away with her son, whom she does not have sole custody of. It seems obvious that Adam is backsliding a little bit from his determination to stay the man he has been working to become when he tells Sharon that he has to admit he misses her! Adam has been trying very hard to walk a straight line and not waver from it but the situation with Chelsea has gotten to him.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Still Feels A Pull To Sharon Rosales

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Adam and Sharon actually had been married in the past – for a year. Adam has been married to Chelsea twice, which would make one think that the bond should have been deeper with Chelsea, with whom he has a child, than with Sharon. However, as viewers of The Young and The Restless know, Adam obviously has the deeper bond with Sharon, and as he admits to her that he misses her, she focuses in on Rey and tells Adam that she’s more committed to him than ever. Sharon tells Adam that she and Rey have made a new start together in their relationship and marriage, after having taken a trip recently and now having returned to Genoa City.

Sharon can tell that Adam is obviously backsliding from his positive changes that are actually starting to impress his friends and family. Adam clearly hints to Sharon that he would still want a future with her, were it possible. Adam made good impressions towards positive changes when he made sure that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was rescued from the basement of the house in Kansas that they had survived a tornado in. Nick even laughed at the irony when Adam admitted that he had gone to the volunteer fire station in person and gotten help, using Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) name, since he was still in the midst of the accusations of poisoning Rey. Adam also proved himself a hero twice with Sharon and Nick’s daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) first by rescuing her from the wreck in the Newman farm truck and then donating a kidney. He can’t deny the pull to Sharon, but if he gives into it he will lose all the ground he’s gained!

      Do not like Adam with Sharon he is only going to use her again and go with Chelsa. Cut him loose let him be with Chelsa and Conner. Not good for Sharon. She needs to be looking for Miriah not talking to him. Miriah needs a hero, wonder who that will be. I am sure Nick has other things to do than worry about Miriah. He has showed who his no.1 kid is. That is sad. Miriah is outspoken and she tells it like she sees it. Nick knows that will he try to save her, at least help Sharon look for her or is he to busy. This should be a better storyline than about Tara<Kyle ,Sally and Phyllis. This is getting boring. We want to see Miriah get rescued and move on with the other storylines.

      The writers have done everything possible to get Adam and Sharon together but they have made Chelsea evil and sent Connor and Rey away and redeemed Adam so why are they dragging this story just put them together but I will always be a Adam and Chelsea fan no matter what but I will support the show and keep watching but these storylines are boring and the show is losing more and more viewers so please give us some interesting and exciting stories so that the show will survive !!!!!!!!!!

      I love Adam with Sharon they have something and its not going to go away even if most fan's don't like it and her been with Rey its boring very boring, all he wants to do is push him toward Chelsea when there is nothing between them, just share a son that's all. Let Rey be with Chelsea cause they might have something or have y & r break up Phyllis with Nick cause he still likes her but its her son that doesn't like him. Can't win in this at all. I want Abby to see the light in front of her when Stitch has been lying to her face since he got back to town that he wants Mariah's baby so he had to kidnap her and make up stories and if Rey can come back and solve this problem so be it but have him arrested for taking Mariah as a hostage. I want no more fighting with Tessa, please Abby get along and go find Mariah and follow Stitch but don't let him know you're behind him.

      I do not like Adam with Sharon. She is too old for him, & the makeup people need to take a second look on how they are making Sharon look. Way too much makeup on her. They are making her look really bad

      When Adam talked to Nikki he seemed like a man who truly wants to take his life is a different direction, but Sharon is poisonous to him as she has been to every man she has ever been involved with. I think eventually she is going to come to him and he will face the ultimate test of whether he can continue to do the right thing and resist the love of his life because he knows she would be destroyed by the guilt resulting from any liaison they may have.
