Adam is not bent on destroying his family or undermining anyone in his path. He stabilized his mind after unblocking what happened in Kansas when he was a child.

As viewers learned through a series of brilliantly scripted and presented flashbacks, Adam killed a man while defending his mother when he was a child. Victor was informed, flew to Kansas, and covered it up.

The effect of that reveal proved life-changing for Adam, with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) playing a key role in helping his younger brother to get a fresh start.

The above provides context to Adam’s current actions. While he wanted to run Newman Locke, he did not sabotage Victoria. Instead, he is simply making himself available to the company now.

Y&R Spoilers – Self-Promotion For Sure

Adam’s self-centered character traits have not evaporated, as he did bad-mouth Victoria for allowing Ashland to fool her into realizing the merger. But he is no longer a true villain.

Sally is purely along for the ride. She is certainly attracted to him, with this pairing becoming a real couple.

Both people do believe in self-promotion. But for the moment, they are playing off of each other and are producing positive results for the company. So, Victor is okay with both people having elevated roles, even if that proves to be temporary.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Is Impressive

No matter what one thinks of Sally, her accomplishments are impressive. She is a resilient soul who must outwork and outwit others to get ahead.

Her intellect and high physical appeal make her a jealous target. Adam is attracted to Sally because she occupies a different part of his mind and heart than Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) did.

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) forced Sally out of Los Angeles, California. She did not sulk. Instead, Sally got back up, dusted herself off, and is succeeding in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Adam is doing the same on Y&R.

      I love Sally she is a breath of fresh air. She is extremely attractive and has a great body which is evident from her daily workouts. Others have criticized her cloths. I love the way she dresses although there are times when it does not seem appropriate for the office, but what the heck if you watch the B&B Steffie used to practically walk around in her underwear. I say let the games begin with this show we need some excitement from Adam and Sally not gloom and doom from Victoria and Ashland and the rest of the Newman's. and I wish Nick would just keep his mouth shut all he seems to do is criticize others, when there are times when he is just as bad

      There is so much about this Ashland story that has become really silly now. It's a struggle to watch because it's so pathetic. Today Victoria mentioned board approval in the family meeting. Board approval wasn't needed apparently for her to stupidly promote her husband to co CEO! Brain dead Nikki's line to Victor this week when she exclaimed how evil Ashland was to kidnap and imprison Michael in a foreign prison!! Errr hello Nikki remember who you're married to! Victor had Jack kidnapped by doppelganger, psychopathic, career criminal Marco and even let him live amongst his family and close proximity to his granddaughter wow! Then there was the kidnapping of Billy, seriously who write these lines, don't they bother to research these characters previous history, its ridiculous. Victoria's plan! as if Adam would trust and agree to help a sister who so recently was trying to take over his company and treat him like dirt. Which brings me to the family meeting where whilst trying to get Adam to be the fall guy in the Ashland mess Victoria, Nick and even Nikki were still verbally abusing Adam. Again everyone in the room had forgotten apparently Victoria was no better than Adam and in some cases even worse. This story is now past dragging on, it can't even keep on track, a complete mess with a mass of contradictions. Characters with amnesia or dementia due to unresearched and ignoring characters past history. Office procedures used to fit, the board only needed when it suits.
