That was Nick’s clue that she wanted to spend more time with him. One thing led to another, and the two were intimate. They are growing closer, something that makes Adam feel very nervous.

It’s evident that Sally chose to be with Nick over Adam. She picked him because he was the safer bet. Adam can be hard to understand and will cut people out of his life without hesitation. Nick, on the other hand, is loyal and husband material. He is understanding, a great listener, and believes in her professional abilities.
Adam is passionate, captivating, and exciting. However, Sally is in the right to question his sincerity. If she had picked Adam, she could have ended up with a broken heart again. For Sally, that was too big of a gamble.

Sally will be understandably confused about what to do. She knows she isn’t ready to commit to marriage with Adam, but she can’t deny they have something special between them.
Additionally, Nick will feel hurt if Sally entertains Adam’s marriage proposal. Adam put Sally in an impossible position. Either way, she’s going to hurt someone she loves. The Y&R spoilers suggest that Sally will turn Adam down, stating she is with Nick now. It’s something that won’t sit right with Adam. The viewers should prepare for a showdown between the Newman brothers.
