He told Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that he shut down his plan to work with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) against Newman Enterprises the moment the Lockeness Monster showed his teeth.

Ashland, like Adam, appears to have been upfront. He rejected Adam’s offer to help him go after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on a business front, while stating that he was seeking personal revenge.

Why would Ashland let Adam know the angle he was planning to exploit if he did not trust him?

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Destroying A Revived Set

Devoted Y&R fans know TPTB created a new hotel setting in the recent past for characters to gather. The Grand Phoenix Hotel, which has become Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) sole domain in more recent times, was originally owned by a group she was part of.

So, it was noteworthy to see the revival of the Genoa City Athletic Club’s rooftop pool and then Ashland in one of that entity’s rooms. Ashland demolished his personal possessions, and many of the GCAC’s items in the room. That was before he was arrested after falling into the trap Victor set for him and executed with Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) and Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) serving as minions.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Has Matured To A Degree

Adam was shaken by the fallout from his mental disintegration. He realized that being a better father to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) was most important.

But Adam also cut ties with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), who was interested in pursuing a romantic revival after she got her head back on straight. That was an important turning point, leading to his next relationship.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is reeling after Adam suddenly dumped her. His actions make no sense, unless they are viewed through the lens of protection.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is The First Target

Ashland is serious about going after Victor by targeting Victoria. He was seen stalking her at Chancellor Park.

Newman’s character is also teased to be seen outside the home where he was living with his then-wife, Victoria. Ashland has lost a sense of perspective because he has been stripped of everything.

Victor blew off Adam’s warning about Ashland. But Victoria and Nick did not, with viewers seeing the next chapter in this quickly developing plot on Y&R.
