The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Seriously Injured – Will Nick Be Able To Save Him?

Will Nick be able to save Adam’s life so Adam can save Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster)?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Faith Newman Is In Kidney Failure And Adam Newman Has The Right Blood Type

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Faith Newman is in kidney failure, and she has a rare blood type. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), when he found out his granddaughter’s dire situation, told Faith’s parents, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman that he knew that Adam had that same rare blood type, from a time that he had been injured in the past and needed a transfusion. The only problem there, as viewers of The Young And The Restless will recall, is that Adam is on the run and no one knew where he is including Victor! Chelsea Lawson, (Melissa Claire Egan) with the help of her best friend Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) had framed Adam for the thallium poisoning of Sharon’s husband, Detective Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Rey has been hot on Adam’s trail, with Victor determined to clear his name and expose Chelsea and Chloe.

It is evident that a kidney donation from Adam is the only hope for Faith unless she is to have kidney dialysis for the rest of her life. That’s not a life for any sixteen-year-old! Nick had persuaded Sharon to let him have her phone to try and trace the number that Adam had been calling from, thinking that a burner phone could be traced. It actually cannot be traced as exactly as a regular phone can, since they are GPS enabled, but the signal can be triangulated between cell towers the burner phone “pings’ off to get a general area where a call is made from.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Tracks His Brother Down

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will also recall that Nick vowed to find Adam and bring him back to Genoa City, no matter how far he had to go or what he had to do! Nick is determined to see to it that Faith has a normal life and not have to have kidney dialysis. Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Adam does not trust Nick and Nick does not trust Adam, but when it comes to Faith’s life and happiness Nick will adjust himself. It turned out that Nick didn’t have to trace the number on Sharon’s phone; between her and Victor, they figured out he may be in the farmhands’ house on the Montalvo property in Kansas, which is now deserted. Nick heads out for Kansas.

It turns out that Victor was right – but the weather, as it often is in the middle of Tornado Alley in the springtime, is dangerous! Nick finds Adam and talks to him about Faith’s dire situation and tries to gain Adam’s trust that Faith’s need for a kidney transplant is true and this is not a trap. Besides, how would Nick know Adam had the same blood type? Adam may not trust Nick but he does trust Victor and Nick is clear that Victor gave them the information. Adam puts down his crowbar. As they are talking, tornado sirens blare and the brothers, already in the basement, ride out the tornado. Nick starts to head upstairs but Adam warns him there is a tornado overhead and it’s dangerous out there.

Nick replies he’s familiar with tornadoes. But by the time they get to the top of the stairs, they discover the door is blocked with debris – Nick finds a large post, one of several in the basement and tries to push it open, Adam helping. All of a sudden Nick, likely flashing back to when the roof of The Underground collapsed, notices a problem and shouts to Adam about the roof, and pushes him out of the way! It looks like the roof collapses over both of them, Nick upstairs and Adam downstairs as he sees Adam unconscious under a bunch of rubble, looking seriously injured! He shouts down to him not to die on him now!
