The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is very intrigued by the unexpected offer his father made. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) revealed the plan for his rarely satisfied son.

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is deep in debt. Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) intended to purchase all of it and then force a sale on better-than-usual terms. But Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) beat her ex-husband to the soapy punch.

Ashley’s purchase of Tucker’s debt was intended to push him to make the right choice. She wants Tucker to sell his company to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). His son is contemplating the offer while attempting to determine if it is legitimate.

Victoria, like her father, has not been deterred by Ashley’s acquisition of Tucker’s debt. She and Victor spoke about that development as something that can be overcome.

But pressure will be needed to change the trajectory of the deal Ashley wants Tucker to complete. He made his pitch to Devon, which Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) relayed to Victoria and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Heinle’s character wants to convince Devon that Tucker’s offer is suspect and Newman Enterprises’ deal is better, meaning more lucrative and with potential perks.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Needs Newman Control

Victor’s idea is a good one. But it will not come to fruition if Devon accepts his father’s offer, buys McCall Unlimited, and runs it with him.

Devon would be highly unlikely to offer Adam the same deal Victor did. Devon will run Tucker’s company if he buys it.

The acquisition of McCall Unlimited would follow Devon either reaching a legal agreement with Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to let him buy back Hamilton-Winters or a legal decision resulting where Devon takes a buyout price for his portion of the company after an initial public stock offering.

Adam does not possess a patient personality. He believes in taking action and will do whatever is necessary to help his father’s idea become reality.
