Adam (as now played by Mark Grossman) later said that he recalled being on a freight train and ended up Las Vegas, Nevada, where his resulting amnesia caused him to assume the identity of a professional poker player.

The spider was the persona that entangled Adam’s mind during the time when he was living in a casino suite. Y&R’s writing staff intentionally left this part of his survival story obscured, with the assumption that it would be clarified later unless that’s already started to happen.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Knows More Than He’s Said?

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was surprised to see that Adam and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) knew each other in Vegas. It took her a number of months to learn what feels like part of the truth on CBS’ Young and the Restless.

Chance was working undercover for the authorities while he was tracking a suspect. The man Boaz’s character was following wasn’t a good guy.

As soapy fate would have it, The Young and the Restless spoilers show Adam and Chance crossed paths at the perfect moment. Chance’s life was saved, the bad guy lunged at Adam, who killed him in self-defense. But was there more to the story?

Y&R Spoilers – Perceptions Of Friendship

Chance told Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) that he would not go against Adam, who was responsible for saving his life. While that’s true, it’s reasonable to believe that the man Adam killed, or that person’s wife, who’s been asking questions, are part of a bigger backstory.

Whether the referenced married couple, Chance, or some unknown person was involved, some human being, or more than one person, either pulled Adam out of the cabin before Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) caused it to explode, or rescued him after he survived the blast. The more plausible option would be that the unconscious Adam was taken from the cabin before it exploded.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mysterious Trip From Wisconsin To Nevada

Y&R fans still don’t know how Adam’s life was saved, how he got to, or was put on a freight train, and how he came to specifically be in Vegas. But they do know that Chance calls Genoa City, Wisconsin, his home, and that he also was in Nevada while Adam was there.

Chance probably hasn’t done anything truly underhanded, as his connection to Adam became complicated through the referenced dead man. But the placement of Phyllis between both characters may imply that Chance, or the suspect he was chasing, is possibly tied to Adam’s rescue in GC and arrival in Vegas.
