While this pairing does care about each other, their courtship and marriage have included Sharon’s continuing link to Adam.

Adam conveniently told Sharon that Chadam is over. So, whatever ideas Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may or may not have had about reconciliation likely will not impact Adam’s final decision to move on.

His concern for Connor’s reaction is genuine. Fans recall that Connor acted out when Adam was unhinged and involved in a battle with his dad.

The realized end of Chadam will hit Connor hard. His mother’s absence in recent months, combined with this news, is challenging. That is why Adam asked for Sharon’s input, which Rey rejected as another ploy for his attention.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Nearing A Choice?

If Sharon decided that she wanted to leave Rey to be with Adam it would happen. Both men know that.

However, Sharon legitimately values the stability that Rey represents. She also recognizes that his support during her cancer battle and the acceptance he has received from her children, along with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), are meaningful points.

Yet, despite the logic sewn through the last paragraph, Sharon visibly reacts whenever Adam is in her presence. Most tellingly, she responds differently when Rey is around.

The fans will see if Chadam’s projected end leads to another Shadam tease or revival. Shey supporters are right to be concerned.
