Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) article caused him to be a town pariah, he’s still at odds with his family, and his love Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) left him. With so much chaos happening in his life, Adam’s head isn’t in the right place.
As evidenced by his recent actions, he’s gone too far, and many are wondering if his days on Y&R are coming to an end.

Adam has pulled many crazy stunts over the years, but now his actions are more dangerous than ever. Although Adam cut ties with his family, he still has his sights set on revenge. His latest plot involves blowing up the Newman Tower.
Newman Enterprises is his father Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) legacy. Adam has always felt like an outcast from the Newmans and his hurt increased when Victor appointed Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) CEO.

Adam feels that Victor and the rest of the Newmans have caused him so much pain, and destroying the family company is his way of getting back at them.
However, Adam’s plan hit a snag when Chelsea discovered his plot. Fearing that she’d blab, Adam had Chelsea kidnapped and is keeping her hostage in a secret room.
Between Chelsea’s kidnapping and the plot to blow up Newman Enterprises, fans believe Adam is beyond redemption at this point.

Whether or not Adam carries through with his plan to bomb the Newman tower remains to be seen. But fans are worried that the character’s time on the show is coming to an end again. While other characters have also done horrible misdeeds in the past, it’s Adam that receives the brunt of criticism among Genoa City residents. No matter how hard he tries to change, he always reverts back to his old ways.
His latest scheme is going to the extreme, and many are wondering if this is the show’s way to write the character out.
Adam has been one of the most controversial characters in Y&R’s history. Whether fans love him or hate him, he makes the show interesting and is the topic of conversation on soap opera forums.
Mark Grossman’s portrayal of Adam has earned praise from fans and journalists, who believe he’s doing a good job capturing the essence of the character. But now fans are worried about the actor’s status with the show following Adam’s current storyline.
There’s been no official word about Grossman’s status with the show, however as viewers have seen in the past, Adam’s been killed off plenty of times.
With Adam having a target on his back, the show could be looking at another murder mystery surrounding his death. But will Adam stay gone for good? Or make another comeback down the road?

Hope he stays gone. He never was a Newman like Nick and Victoria. Maybe Chelsa will go with him I hope so. That will be 1 gone, we want have to worry about. Hope Chance will be ok and him and Abby will get to be together. Adam leaves and Sharon and Nick can focus on Faith before she gets in trouble. Cancel the wedding that will help Faith alot. Rey needs to go from Sharon to. They need to put her into something she can shine in. She has been in the dark to long. She needs her family back to help her along. Everyone thinks she is not good enough to over come this. Some are always picking on her, she needs to put them in their place. Show them she is as good as they are. She is a strong person to go through this. As you can see I am a Sharon fan, she is a good actress has pulled this off. Put her in something she can focus on and move on. Keep Adam and Rey away from her that will help. Her kids are her no. 1 fans, and they are hers. Let some be jealous of her, then she can really shine.
