The Moustache’s efforts worked, with Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) making peace and James’ character telling his father, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), he will not be buying the company, which leaves an opening for Victor.

Sally is just learning what parenthood is all about. She is relying on Nick to help guide her in the process. But he has nothing on Adam, who holds the deeper bond through the paternity tie.

Hope’s character is sincere. She does want to be with Nick. Their relationship arguably developed as a follow-up coupling rather than a rebound from Adam.

Sally has also earned credit by being upfront with Adam, who she wants fully involved in their child’s life. Of course, Adam deserves that respect as the child’s father.

Victor recently told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that his main focus is Adam. He believes his youngest son, who has been an adult for years, will veer off-track if he is not monitored.

While Victor’s instincts are right, and he is well-intentioned, there is only so much he can do for Adam. Grossman’s character does not want his father hovering over him. But he is open to running McCall Unlimited.
