The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman’s feelings for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)
Adam has been moving on Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), saying just the right things to get her attention, but does he really care for Chelsea, or is it a ruse? According to the latest “Y&R” spoilers, his plans might be somewhat different, as he could well be trying to push his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) into feeling jealousy.
Y&R Spoilers – Adam’s plans don’t seem to be working
While at first, it looked like his plan was working, it turns out Nick is not the immature and hot-headed Newman the family – and especially Adam – believes him to be. Chelsea’s reasoning for moving out of Nick’s home over to Adam’s penthouse isn’t because she wishes to get closer to Adam. It’s all about doing the right thing for their son, Connor. At this stage of the game, Connor needs both parents together, more than he ever has before.
Y&R Spoilers -Adam Newman’s Actions
Spoilers call Adam’s actions a power play to make his half-brother jealous while wining and dining Chelsea and spending much of his time with her. If he is waiting for Nick to react to the situation, Adam is likely getting disappointed as Nick has other things going on in his life to worry about.
Adam’s plan could backfire on him
In the meantime, Nick is getting closer to his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and things between them are better than they have ever been before. As Adam fails to get the desired reaction from Nick, it looks like his plan might backfire on him, especially if everyone catches on to what he is up to. Adam could end up red-faced and very disappointed.
