The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam’s Twist, Last-Minute Betrayal Saves Family from Ashland’s Wrath?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) might actually be luring Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) into a trap. There’s a good chance that Adam’s taking a page from Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) playbook and he’s not really on the Locke Ness Monster’s side.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: He’s Just Not That Good

Locke is just not that good once his deceptions are found out, and that was pretty obvious when he was duped by Victoria. Locke is good at deceiving others, but not so good at telling when he’s being deceived, and Victoria turned out to be more than his match when it came to deception! But if Adam is taking a page from her playbook, wanting to make their father proud by taking Ashland down for good, Ashland’s proving he’s just not that good.

If the Locke Ness Monster can’t see that Adam is scamming him as well and he can’t see through him, he deserves everything he’s getting. What he’s getting is a whole lot of nothing and three hots and a cot.

Y & R Spoilers: Sally Spectra Is Worried About Adam Newman

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has had her share of spiraling back in Los Angeles, and she thinks she recognizes it in Adam; she doesn’t understand his walking away from Newman. Besides, she is worried about her own job; if he leaves the company, where does that leave her, and where does it leave her new employee Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson)?

However, it may not be exactly what she thinks – and Adam may not be confiding his plot in her for her own protection; the fewer who know, the lesser danger. Adam will make a sacrifice for Sally, and the sacrifice might be risking their relationship over his secret plot-it’s easy to see why she might dump him for keeping secrets.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman Is Anxious To Rid The Newmans of Ashland Locke

Victor is anxious to rid the Newmans of Locke once and for all, and he might talk Victoria into keeping Sally in her present position. Victor may offer to do this in exchange for Adam duping Locke, not realizing that Adam’s thought of it first, since Adam’s already burned his bridge. Adam will want to keep Sally from getting fired though so he might agree to “work with him” on the plot to keep Sally’s job safe.

Adam would be the best man to do this job since he’s already convinced Ashland they’re on the same side. Adam plays up his black sheep of the Newman family persona and how his father’s always screwed him over – Ashland bites.

Y & R Spoilers – The End Result Is The Same

Whether Adam is working this scam to take Locke down on his own, a grand gesture to impress Victor, or if he’s working with Victor at his request, the end result is the same. Ashland will find himself in a tight spot, cornered with no way out. This will happen during the week of July 18; and Adam will surprise Sally with revealing something huge as well. This, might be Adam explaining what he, or they, if he and Victor were really working together were really doing. Ashland should be so humbled by falling for another Newman scam he’ll leave town with his tail tucked between his legs, but it may take more than that.
