Y&R spoilers reveal that when Hunter King was playing Summer, there was a war with Sally. Then, the stakes got raised when Sally and Tara Locke (formerly played by Elizabeth Leiner) struck a deal.

While Sally did get Summer out of Genoa City, “Skyle” still ended up together. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) joined Summer in Milan. Plus, Summer ended up loving her new job at Marchetti.

Y&R Spoilers – Summer Newman-Abbott’s Return

After Summer and Kyle returned to Genoa City, there was a scene featuring Sally. It was clear that Summer hasn’t forgotten about everything Sally did to her. While there weren’t any direct threats, Sally did try to use them both being ambitious career women to imply a truce. Sally has clearly moved on and it seems that Summer has too.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the only other time Summer has mentioned Sally is during a chat with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). However, the focus wasn’t on what Sally did to Summer.

Instead, it was gossip about Sally sleeping her way to the top. Summer couldn’t help but imply that the only reason Sally was COO of Newman Media was due to her romance with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Then, Summer directed the conversation away from Sally and onto her vision for the new Marchetti.

Soap Opera Digest magazine recently asked Lanier about Sally and Summer’s new dynamic. Even though Sally and Summer aren’t really bringing up their enemy status much, does that mean everything is forgiven?

“I wouldn’t say forgiven, but Summer isn’t going to hold onto a grudge, and she’ll never trust Sally.”

Now, this could always change depending on what Sally does in the future. Right now, Sally is focused on Adam and rising up at Newman Media. Sally just got a promotion to CEO of Newman Media while Adam is replacing Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises. While Adam knows this could be short-lived, he hopes to prove to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he’s the right Newman for the job.

If that all falls apart though, Sally could turn her direction elsewhere. That could lead Sally and Summer to reignite their rivalry.
