The whole mess started when Adam tried to frame his dad Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). He thought it would be a slam dunk to say that Victor killed A.J., which he actually believed was true. But instead, the laugh was on him.
After blackmailing his dad with this info, Victor let his black sheep son run the family company, Newman Enterprises. But things unraveled. As it turns out, Victor did not kill AJ, Adam did.
Adam was just 11-years old and the whole thing was covered up by Victor in order to protect Adam.

One barn burner theory making the rounds is that Adam is actually not Victor’s son, but AJ’s. This would require a bit of rewriting on the writers’ part, but that’s what they get paid for, right?

Was looking forward to new episodes but too much of Adam and Phyliss.
I think it's time to put some sense into Adam's life. He didn't kill this thug who threatened him and his mom and he didn't intentionally kill Delia. He saved Chance an FBI agent whilst he was undercover, I'm sure that was self defense and defense of Chance. Get Adam the therapy he needs to realize he did not intend harm and is just a person who acts defensively if threatened, just like many people do. Move the Adam killer story on, we've already had too much self loathing with Delia, this is getting really old.
I am sorry but they can't rewrite history there is no way that Adam is not Victor's son. Hope was a sweet and innocent girl when she met and married Victor there is no way he would done that and accepted Adam as his son if he wasn't certain. The writers can't do this to Hope's memory ..what they are writing for Adam at the moment is all bad enough they can't take away his saintly mother, I don't want AJ raping Hope ..Victor would have known, with Hope being blind she wore her heart on her sleeve and told the truth !

Oh wow… Adam not Victor's son? I've been praying for this day for years. Never thought that I would see it…. so happy.
Seriously? Victor has done nothing but show that man love. Look who his mother was…. Hope was the most loving, nurturing mother. Adam is just broken. He's selfish and jealous of his other siblings. Maybe now he will see what he's been fighting against all this time. I think this storyline makes perfect sense… and hey, haven't even watched in months!
I honestly hope they don't do that not now , Victor and Adam have finally become friends and building a great bond ! I'm so tired of the writers doing stuff like this then they back themselves into a corner where there isn't any other way to go and they mess the whole thing up ..LEAVE ADAM AND VICTOR AS FATHER AND SON!
She did live in GC ..I am tired of these stupid retreads and tweaks ..they never work out!
