The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates reveal Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) isn’t the only woman missing Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) in Genoa City. Rey’s newest best friend Chelsea Lawson is understandably having trouble processing his sudden death. Despite it being determined that Rey’s death was actually caused by him having a heart attack, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is left to wonder if Ashland Locke could have saved him.

Chelsea is bound & determined to find out of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman could have done anything to save Rey during the crash that he & Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) were also involved in (but survived). They were driving separately. Could The Young and The Restless Ashland have had another motive in following Victoria that foggy evening other than caring about her safety? With his track record, he totally could have.

Now that Y&R Chelsea & Ashland are both guests at the Grand Phoenix, they are bound to run into one another. It seems all but certain that Chelsea will be interrogating Ashland over cocktails in the hotel lobby as soon as she has the opportunity.

Y&R Spoilers – Did Ashland Locke Even Try to Save Rey Rosales On Y&R? Sharon Visits Rey Rosales In The Morgue

It seems Rey’s vehicle was not on fire, while Victoria’s obviously was. It makes sense to rescue the driver of the car on fire (& the woman one is supposedly in love with first), but why not get Rey out of the car next?

Ashland barely put anytime into determining if Rey could have been saved. The lack of effort could be understood if Rey’s car was also on fire & it was obvious nothing could be done to save Rey. It’s very likely that Chelsea takes more time figuring out what to wear than Ashland did to determine if Rey could have been saved.

Also, Nick escorted Sharon to see Rey in the morgue. It’s doubtful that Sharon would want to have her last memory of her husband seeing him deceased, burned, & in a morgue.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Perhaps Chelsea Newman Is Onto Something On Y&R …& She’s (Still) Crazy

Chelsea may very well have a valid point. Why didn’t Ashland at least get Rey out of his vehicle & attempt CPR? With Ashland’s track record of lies, he’s sure to come up with something creative & likely believable to share with Chelsea.

Chelsea is creative herself, however. It wasn’t long ago that she tried to kill Rey herself using a very elaborate plan. Not only did she try to kill Rey, but she also made it through therapy, & developed a close friendship with Rey. Ashland Locke may have met his match in the way of deceit.

With Chelsea & Ashland both staying at the Grand Phoenix it almost seems too easy. After all, Chelsea has experience in poisoning men. Room service, drinks in the lobby, & the number of ways Chelsea might take out Ashland are almost endless.
