Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Stitch has been acting like a stalker! He has been seen looking into the windows of the Chancellor mansion and may have even come inside to look at Abby sleeping on the couch before anyone even knew that he was in Genoa City. Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Ben had a rough childhood – for many years he took the blame for his father’s death until his mother confessed.

Ben, who got the nickname “Stitch” in the military and is an old army buddy of Dylan McAvoy’s (Steve Burton) has said he was in Genoa City for the retirement party of a mentor of his who worked at the hospital there in Genoa City. However, he has stayed longer than he said he would, and had told Abby, Mariah and others that he was catching up with old friends. Ben said that his son Max had become unresponsive after he had removed his brain tumor, which left him with seizures shortly after the operation. He had only continued to decline, and Ben said he is in a specialized care facility in Iowa City, Iowa.

Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Max was the reason that Abby fell down the stairs and lost her and Ben’s baby, and that is also the reason she cannot carry a child now. Ben felt terrible when he found that out recently.

Y&R Spoilers And Rumors – Could Ben Rayburn Have Gone Off The Deep End With Guilt And Be Trying To Overcompensate?

Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that possibly Ben has gone off the deep end with guilt and be trying to overcompensate. He likely blames himself for his son’s decline, since he was the one who removed his brain tumor, and it could very well be that Max has passed away and that’s the real reason Stitch returned to Genoa City. He may blame himself for Abby not being able to carry her own baby as well, and now that he knows Mariah is her surrogate, he may have decided that he has to keep her safe and not let anything happen to this baby!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Stitch seems to look rather morose and depressed, even when he is not in a situation where one normally would be. Stitch appears also to have been the last person to see Mariah before she went missing – and that could be very suspicious.

Mariah didn’t apparently say much about a business trip she was supposed to go on, and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) didn’t know anything about a business trip. However, he is going to look into it and try to find out what is going on! Stitch likely means no harm but may have kidnapped Mariah – to keep her and especially Abby’s baby within her safe. That, of course is not a healthy way to respond to the situation, but Stitch may not be all that healthy!
