CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers and rumors indicate that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) worst nightmare will come true when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) rehires Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).

Kyle’s bitter rivalry with his enemy/cousin Theo is one of the biggest storylines on Y&R. As viewers remember, Kyle and Summer Newman (Hunter King) set up a plot to remove Theo from Jabot.

After Theo spied Kyle’s advertising plan on the computer, he decided to use that in his pitch to Jack. However, Kyle then revealed that it was one of Jack’s old campaigns, which Theo got from Kyle’s laptop.

Jack was upset with his nephew’s actions and Theo apologized, but that wasn’t enough. A smug Kyle then informed Theo he was fired.

An unemployed Theo is now looking for work and has his sights set on Chancellor Industries after overhearing a conversation between Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Even though Jack was upset with Theo’s actions, he’s still family. Jack has always preached about the importance of family and he may be willing to give his nephew another chance.

Kyle thought he’d finally be rid of Theo, and Jack bringing him back is his worst nightmare. Jack has grown annoyed with Kyle and Theo’s constant bickering. Even though Theo has his bad habits, Kyle hasn’t done much to ease the tension between him and Theo.

While Kyle thinks he’s calling the shots, he forgets that he and Jack are still co-CEOs. Even though Kyle had every right to fire Theo, Jack’s got every right to rehire him.

Jack’s decision is going to cause a lot more tension in the office. Of course, Theo is going to be back to bickering with Kyle and Summer. But this is also going to cause a strain in Jack and Kyle’s relationship.

Kyle had to work hard to prove himself and convince his father that he should be given a chance as CEO. Seeing Kyle’s determination, Jack agreed to give his son a chance. But with Jack reversing his decision in regard to Theo is going to be a huge blow to Kyle.

Kyle will believe his father doesn’t trust him and he’s not capable of making good decisions. He’ll also feel hurt because he believes that Jack favors Theo over him.

With Theo possibly coming back to Jabot and being a nuisance in Kyle’s life, the CEO may rethink his decision to stay onboard.
