When Y&R viewers last saw Abby and Chance, their relationship was heating up. Ever since Chance arrived back in Genoa City, he’s been spending his free time with the Newman heiress. Of course, their relationship did have a slight hiccup thanks to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

It looked like Genoa City’s troublesome redhead had a crush on Chance, and even took him on a date. Despite her seduction attempts, Chance turned her down saying his heart belonged to Abby.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers No longer A problem To Abby Newman

While Phyllis is no longer a threat to Abby’s personal life, she is turning Abby’s professional life upside down. Phyllis took over ownership of Abby’s hotel The Grand Phoenix. Abby then plotted revenge by buying an inn across the road and saying she’s going to be competition for The Grand Phoenix.

As Abby prepares for her next business venture, she has the support of her boyfriend. Chance has helped Abby throughout her battle with Phyllis.

With the couple making plans for their financial future, many are wondering if wedding bells will be ringing for the pair.

As Y&R fans know, Abby’s been unlucky in love. She’s been divorced, one of her lovers got killed, and the rest have broken up with her.

Y&R Spoilers – Abby Newman Finds Happiness

Abby’s last boyfriend prior to Chances was Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Even though they looked like a good match, Nate and Abby eventually parted ways due to their disagreement over her father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Now it looks like Abby has finally found happiness with Chance, but will she be ready to settle down.

Chance is smitten with Abby and has shown he’s willing to do anything for her. As their relationship continues to grow, the topic of marriage is bound to come up. Chance will seem eager to marry and settle down with Abby. However, she may not be sure.

Abby was previously married to Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) and was pregnant with his child. However, Abby suffered a miscarriage when Stitch’s son Max Rayburn (Jared Breeze) caused her to fall down the stairs. The couple later divorced, and since then Abby’s had a string of failed relationships.

Due to the traumatic events following her first marriage, Abby may be reluctant to walk down the aisle again. This could cause an issue moving forward in her relationship with Chance. Even though Abby loves Chance, she fears she may suffer through more heartbreak with another marriage.

Chance and Abby’s different opinions about their future are going to test them. The question is whether their relationship can survive. One of them will have to budge when it comes to marriage. Abby will either decide to take a chance on love or Chance will decide not to push the subject.
