The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke’s Cancer Treatment
Y&R spoilers reveal that Ashland is currently receiving treatment for his advanced lung cancer. His prognosis isn’t good and he wasn’t even going to fight it. Ashland was willing to just die simply because he knew the odds were not in his favor. However, Victoria was able to convince him to at least fight. Ashland has stated multiple times that he’s getting treatment because of his love for Victoria.
Some fans don’t believe Ashland really loves her or could be faking having cancer. However, Burgi spoke to Soaps.com and indicated that Ashland’s feelings are very real.
Y&R Spoilers – Second Opinion
It is teased that Ashland will get an update on his condition from the doctor. It doesn’t sound as if the results are good. In fact, Ashland seems to be having more trouble catching his breath than usual. It is confirmed that Ashland will get a second opinion. Now, if it was good news, there would be no reason for Ashland to seek out another doctor.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Burgi spoke about Ashland’s intense love for Victoria. Ashland was married before, to a manipulative liar named Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Despite having been married once before, Ashland didn’t love Tara the way he loves Victoria. So, when Ashland is faced with the grim news that his time is quickly ending, he makes a shocking decision.

Y&R Spoilers – Leaving A Legacy
Burgi explained that Ashland is determined to leave a legacy for Victoria. Now, both of them aren’t exactly youngsters anymore. Victoria is definitely too old to be getting pregnant. However, modern science and alternatives to pregnancy are giving people multiple ways to have a baby anyway. Burgi teased,
“It’s more of an emblematic expression of what Ashland feels for Victoria, which he’s never felt for any other woman. So that would be made manifest as a child.”
