The Young And the Restless Spoilers: Ashland Busted By Victoria?

Victoria wants to take Ashland at his word. But her father’s persistence and Billy’s self-appointed role as an eternal protector have forced doubt into her mind.

The Vashland wedding is set for October. The location will be Tuscany, Italy. But will some illegal or amoral information derail this rushed courtship and ceremony?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Not Much Time Left On Earth

Ashland appears to be telling the truth about his cancer diagnosis. That reveal, if it happens, would be the type of shoe drop that would cause Victoria to call the wedding off.

Assuming that he is sick means that there isn’t much time left on this earth unless Ashland goes into remission or has his life extended through the treatments he’s been receiving. So, Victoria’s heartfelt intent of marrying in the early fall makes sense.

Y&R Spoilers – If Something Terrible Is Found

A problem will exist if Victor’s investigators, Billy’s so-called investigative journalists, or another source uncovers verifiable illegal actions in Ashland’s past. Just because someone has a terminal illness doesn’t mean he is shielded from the law being enforced.

If Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) needs to arrest Ashland for a legitimate reason, then it will happen. Whether enough evidence would exist to force sustained imprisonment or an eventual conviction remains to be seen.

Having Ashland die in jail would hardly seem like the type of storyline climax that Y&R fans would want to see. So, this type of eventual outcome isn’t predicted and hopefully doesn’t happen.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cleared On All Rumored Charges

The best outcome for Victoria would be if her instincts are fully vindicated.

At some point, Victor could sense that enough digging occurred and he would call off his minions. Billy won’t back off as easily.

If Billy and his sources uncover nothing, then he will likely offer a grudging admission along the lines of nothing being proven. That is often the case with single-minded people like Billy, who believe they are rarely or never wrong about gut feelings.

Ashland’s vindication would not necessarily mean a happy ending for him and Victoria, as the cancer issue would still exist. Yes, the remission and health turnaround references can not be dismissed by all hopeful Y&R fans until the plot potentially proves otherwise.
